Very nice luxury hotel with amazing views. SUPER dog friendly. Fantastic parks (plural!) steps away from each exit with miles of coastal touristy trails. Probably your best bet for dog friendly. Empress is great to visit but too stuffy for us. This turned out to be the spot. Thanks BringFido!

Our pup was greeted in her room by a big, fluffy bed, her own bowls and dog cookies made by the pastry chef! Very dog friendly rooms, first floor, all dogs in same wing. Very easy to get outside. This hotel is right on the inner harbor with the park/water walkway just outside the door. Perfect. Victoria is a very dog friendly city and there are beautiful parks to walk with your dog. Don’t miss a short drive out of town to Mount Douglas. Great hiking with your dog!

The Laurel Point is walking distance to all the amazing sights Victoria has to offer. My room had a stunning view of the inner harbour. Outdoor deck seating was perfect to take in sun set with my pup, enjoy a glass of wine & watch as the Parliament buildings and Empress Hotel light up the night sky. We popped out each morning at 6:45 to walk town before the hustle & bustle. There is a Starbucks about a 5 min walk away toward the Parliament buildings. You never need to walk near the street, there is such a great seawall trail system to take in the scenery and lots of garden/grassy areas for the pup. Fisherman's Wharf 5 min away for fish n chips and they allow pups at the picnic tables too. A close walk to Dallas road where you'll find great trails along the open ocean to play fetch, explore, take a swim, and meet lots of other travelers with their fur babies as well. A really great, truly doggo friendly experience!!

1st time staying at the Laurel Point...and 1st time hotel stay for our Ragdoll Cat Victor....we also had Murphy our more experienced traveller a chihuahua/shitzu mix dog. Our room had a lovely view of the city and inner harbour......Victor loved looking out the window. Pet bowls and bed provided. Always a warm greeting for both cat and dog as we came and went...puppy treats at the front desk as well. Great location for pet walks, close to restaurants and coffee bars.

From the minute we walked through the door to the time we left our dog was spoiled and treated like a princess. They have everything to make for a comfy stay for dogs from beds to treats, bowls and even a city map for the dog with dog friendly walkabouts and parks.

Staff was awsome. Brought dog dishes, treats, doggy sacs and very comfy bed. Treats upon entry and exit from the hotel. Great room on the second ond floor with a fantastic view of the harbour. Would stay again.
