Hard to get to. Room was in rough shape, found clothing and personal items from a previous occupant in nightstand drawer. Staff, however, was wonderful!!!

Wasn’t the worst. Very cramped room, someone’s garbage left on the floor and the bathroom could use a little work. But the sheets were clean and the shower was hot. It was good for the night and the dogs were welcome.

NOT family friendly. Booked this hotel and did not even go into a room when we arrived. It is a very sketchy and unsafe area. I would never stay here.

So this Best Western is one of those places that won't charm you at first blush...but, by the end of your visit, you'll be glad you stayed.
I stayed at this Best Western on night #3 of an 18-day road trip with my sweet dog. I pulled into town late (10pm) and was forced to check in through a security window. Maybe it's just me, but that type of setup is off-putting.
Once I got to my room, however, I was pleasantly surprised: The rooms have been recently updated, and they have been tastefully done. I enjoyed my time in the room, and I slept very well.
The next morning, I was able to check out inside the lobby(!) and thus could see how nice it was. I also enjoyed seeing a beautiful picture of the owner's daughter on the wall -- she was Miss Alabama last year. Beautiful young lady.
On a return visit to Tuscaloosa, I would not hesitate staying here again.

This is right off I-59 And is close to food, gas, and GRASS! Staff was very pleasant and the room was fine. Decent bed, clean sheets and water pressure! Needed a good vacuuming around the edges, tho. Will definitely stay here again.

Room was very damp feeling. Dated and definitely needs a refresh. Has plenty of grass areas to take a walk

The room had a distinct musty odor, as if at one time the rugs had gotten wet and the smell never went away.
