Within 2 miles are a variety of Restaurants such as: Applebees, Red Lobster, Ryans Steak House, Fazoliies, on the Border, & Outback Steak House. Also a shopping mall & Factory Outlet Mall. Five to seven miles are attractions such as Oaklawn HorseTrack, Downtown Historic National Park, including gift shops, bath houses and Convention Center. Rooms are furnished with refrigerators, cable, HBO, and free local calls. There is an outdoor pool and hot tub. VIP Lakefront Suites are also available.       The room smelled smoky, the bathroom sink didn't drain nor did it have a stopper, the sliding glass door didn't lock, the supposed clean bath towel looked like someone had used it instead of toilet paper, there were no wastebaskets in the room, the TV remote didn't work, the tops of the desk & bureau weren't clean and had food stains...couldn't wait to get back on the road. There were also many, many people who actually LIVE there with kids and multiple dogs, some ferocious. The outside door to the wing didn't even lock so anyone could've gotten in. Nasty place and front office person barely spoke English.

      Dirty, torn up bed. No A.C.

      Our room was blazing hot even though the a.c. was running. The bottom of the bed was torn up, and the room felt dirty. The stairs were half rotten and covered in spider webs. Definitely won't be staying there again.
