Large grass area out back to walk dogs. We got a ground floor room around back and it was very quiet and convenient with dogs. Walking distance to several fast food places. Friendly staff. Would definitely recommend it.

Great open field for walking the dog. Also, nice to have exterior entrances to the rooms. Unfortunately, the room smelled a bit of pet urine, which kind of stressed our dog out. Front desk staff very friendly.

Both ladies at the front desk were beyond welcoming, the location is really quiet; far removed from the main road, and the room was clean and comfortable! Yes, it’s an updated, older motel, but it was beyond expectations for the price, and we actually prefer this. No hallways to negotiate with the dogs, and given this was a stop over for a cross country trip, I liked that my truck was right outside my door for security reasons.
The best part, however, is the MULTIPLE, HUGE, open grassy areas out back. While a flock of geese, and two, funny, cats stalking them were occupying the one immediately outside, we walked to one of the others. Great place to exercise them and get some of the crazy out before another day of driving! If I ever make the slog on I-40, again, I’ll definitely stay here!

Lots of local options for food and services. Room was adequate but several items were not plugged in or usable but didn't affect our stay.

Booked a room for the night on a road trip. Got the key, went to the room, smelly, musty, instant allergy attack. Went back to the office, got another room, same thing. Did not stay.

We were able to park right in front of our room in a handicapped-accessible space. The room was very handicap-friendly. We don't have major handicap concerns, but it was someplace I would stay at if I were traveling with someone that had more severe limitations. The room was clean, the breakfast was great and the staff were very friendly.

Plenty of grassy areas for the dogs. Parked right outside the room. Quiet environment. Carpet which was good for my post surgery dog. Staff accommodating. We have stayed there 3 times!

we enjoyed this room. we had a room with an exterior door (which we prefer with the pups). there is a huge grassy field out back- not fenced in- but the dogs loved the big area to run around! I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a basic, clean and dog friendly hotel!

Check-in was very thoughtful of what would make our stay best with a dog. First, she assigned us a room on the first floor for easy evening outings...and we even had a small area close by for our small Fido to use. As we left the desk, she even asked if it would be okay to give us a Milkbone for our pup. The rooms were a nice size and in nice condition.

We traveled across country and the Best Western in Van Buren was our favorite dog friendly motel. It is clean, parking right in front of our room, open field to walk the dogs, and delicious breakfast. We will definitely stay here again.

The hotel has a wonderful big field where our dog was able to run after his ball. It was not fenced but no busy streets by it. Room on first floor with parking place in front of door which made for easy access to the room with the dog bed, food, and dogs suitcase full of toys, treats bowls etc. There are plenty of restaurants near by as well as a Walmart and strip mall. A large selection of hot and cold breakfast was available. The people were allvery nice. Pool clean and more private then most. We had a clean spacious room.

Safe Stay: Best Western Van Buren Inn has enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place, and follows the We Care Clean (Best Western) cleanliness and sanitization policy. Masks and hand sanitizer are provided to guests, and rooms are disinfected between each stay and sealed after cleaning. Social distancing measures are in place, as well as physical barriers between staff and guests. Contactless check-in and check-out are available. Each room has a 24-hour gap period between stays, and hotel staff are required to wear masks. This property does not require health documentation at check-in.
