The Lodge is down the hill from the main casino and hotel. Have to take a shuttle to the main hotel casino. It’s dark and looks empty. Rooms are, well, not nice. Would be very difficult to leave our dog in that room if we wanted to grab a bite or hit the casino. We actually didn’t even stay - we just left 10 minutes after arrival. We didn’t feel like it even offered a good night’s rest. Frankly we didn’t feel safe for ourselves or our dog. Very disappointing. Would not recommend.

Was a little disappointed with the room; run down and not in the best shape. Not very dog friendly as far as places to walk or specific pet areas around the property.

When I first entered the room I noticed there was no bottled water available, no microwave, no refrigerator, the carpet was very dirty...just an all around dreary room. Called the front desk for water and the girl hassled me telling me they don't provide water in the rooms so I talked to management and was able to get some water to take medication. Other than being really reasonable rates the overall hotel sucks. I don't think I ever want to stay there again, and I'll be telling my friends the same thing.

It was my parents anniversary so I got them a room at the Lodge by the cliff castle casino and they had an amazing and beautiful time.

Lovely patio at the Lodge. Friendly staff, comfortable. Dog walking wasn’t the best; no real landscaping and typical Arizona soil, rocks, and scrubby plants. But level ground and ample room for the dog walks.

Besides a little confusion checking in (the lodge is separate from the casino but need to check in at casino hotel) the stay was great. One problem with room was no refrigerator, but a cheap ice chest solved that. Sliding patio door right out to pool was really nice. The room was clean and staff was really friendly and helpful.

We loved it! The patio and sliding glass door are great! Dog bowls and a mat are provided. The casino has a bowling area, restaurants and a kids area. Easy access to Beaver Creek day use area for a nice hike. Close to Sedona, Cottonwood and Jerome. Colt 804 grill in Cottonwood is a great nearby restaurant with a dog friendly patio.

Safe Stay: The Lodge at Cliff Castle Casino has enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place. Masks and hand sanitizer are provided to guests, and rooms are disinfected between each stay. Social distancing measures are in place, as well as physical barriers between staff and guests. Contactless check-in and check-out are available. Each room has a 24-hour gap period between stays, and hotel staff are required to wear masks.
