The hot breakfast is only waffles & oatmeal. Room was clean and a large spot to take my dog out.

We arrived late and this hotel still had available pet friendly rooms. I appreciated the extra help by Eric at BringFido for trying to locate a spot for us to end our long day on the road. The property is located right off the interstate and easy to access. They do charge a pet pet fee which has to be paid at checkin which is a little inconvenience as it would be nice to have a payment free experience at checkin. The assistant manger was training a new person so it took a few extra minutes at arrival. Interesting that the manager was wearing a mask while the other staff was not even though signs posted on the lobby doors stated mask required in lobby. Both staff were polite however and accommodating to a 1st floor room.
The room was clean and did not smell of smoke. It was rather well maintained for an older property and had extra space with a little table, chairs, microwave & small fridge. No coffee maker in room but available in the lobby. Clean linens and towels. For the most part the room was quiet. There really is no pet relief area on site. You have to go to the back of the property and it’s a field like area with no grass and sadly litter filled with paper to glass!! Be careful when walking your dog especially at night as little to no lighting in that section. Disappointing considering they charge a pet fee with no added amenities for pets. Was awakened at around 5am to the sound of dogs barking from a few rooms down & people coming & going from upstairs. The trucks and people leaving was very loud. The walls were evidently very thin! Thankfully for me most people were quiet during the night.

The room was nice, unfortunately the cable wasn't working. But I didn't care, went to sleep early. The lady at the reception was very nice and attentive.

Clean sheets, and the second bone (by default) is only because they’re dog friendly. I’d NEVER stay here again. When I was a child in the 50s traveling with my folks, Howard Johnson’s was a welcome sight and the standard of the industry. This place was from the 50s alright, but was no standard of the industry.

Thank you BringFido for helping us when we telephoned. First time using your service and it was wonderful. Pulled into a strange town in the dark. You called the hotel, made sure they had a room for us and our dog. Then also called hotel to make sure check in went as planned, and it did! They also had a nice dog park-like fenced-in grassy area.
