We had a great time here with our golden retriever. The staff was incredible and very accommodating. They was PLENTY of grass for her to go to the bathroom and we had a first floor room which was amazing. Would 100% stay here again. Not to mention, the bartender, Rick, at The Hole In The Wall, was so friendly/fun.

We stayed in a casita and there was plenty of room for our dog to run around. Highly recommend!

Stayed for 5 nights but reservation was for 4 nights with a second reservation for one night as it was cheaper to modify it this way. Room was great, pool area nice but in need of maintenance on pathways/pool tiles. Front desk staff unfriendly at check in and despite assuring us they have us in room until Thursday, we arrived Wednesday afternoon after our outing to find we were locked out of our room in 90 degree heat with our senior dog in tow. This was after it took the same front desk person 10 min to locate our second reservation despite me showing a confirmation number and confirmation of payment. If you are going to have a hard time at your job at least do it with a smile on your face. The other staff we encountered from housekeeping to pool staff to gift shop staff were all excellent. Unsure if we’d ever stay again as there are many other good places out there, and the fact that the overall property is a bit worn around the edges coupled with the snafus with checking in and then being locked out, kind of left a sour taste in our mouth.

We chose this resort due to it being “dog friendly” however it is not. We first off got placed on the 4th floor as far away as possible from any place for the dog to use the restroom.
I was hoping to see a place maybe fenced off for dogs but there was not.
When I asked “Rico’s” (one of the 3 restaurants this resort offers) about bringing our 20lb golden doodle on the patio , she said “let me double check to see if we allow dogs...” so we went up to our room and ordered room service.
obviously this resort is not a dog friendly resort or they just don’t get a lot of guest with dogs. However I don’t feel it was worth the hundreds of dollars we spent. Lesson learned and on to the next!
