This hotel was perfect for our overnight stay with our dog. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Lots of outdoor grassy areas right outside our room. The front desk clerk was friendly and professional. We will make note of this location for future stays.

This place was great for both dogs and humans. First, the pool was so incredibly refreshing in the +100 degree heat. And so were the beers that they had stocked near the front desk. The grounds surrounding the pool had real nice grass for the dog and they even had poo bags stands in case you ran out. Breakfast actually had eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, cereal, pastries, juices, etc, and the manager (Scott, I think) was super friendly and attentive. And to top it off, the AC in our room did not work, and so the front desk manager without even being prompted comped our room. Other than that the location is great, walking distance to many fine shops and restaurants. Highly recommend.

I booked a suite room which was pretty nice for my dog and me. The hotel is a short walk away from the Kierland Commons and the Scottsdale Quarter where there are nice restaurants and shops. It is also located across the street from the Scottsdale Airport which can be a little noisy--you may want to book a room that is more sheltered from the aircraft noise if that may bother you. Although the other BW in Scottsdale is located across from the Entertainment District that can have party noise 'til 2 AM.
But during these Covid times, they made real eggs for breakfast and offered a freshly made breakfast burrito too. Not a packaged breakfast.
My review to BW recommended that they add at least one movie channel like HBO or Showtime to their cable mix. At the time of my stay it was just your basic cable.
