The location was great in a local neighborhood with grassy areas at the hotel with poop bags available. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and I highly recommend this hotel if you have a pet.

I spent 3 days at this Holiday Inn with my senior Black Lab. We noted their 40 lb limit, and wrote to see if we could get an exception. (My Lab is a working therapy dog with the bona fides to confirm her history.) We were happily welcomed by the manager and staff. It was a great choice for us. There is a dog potty area with poop bags and easy disposal right outside the first floor ‘dog’ rooms. Our room had plenty of space for a big dog bed and a fridge for those items of her meals that needed to be kept cold. In addition there is a fabulous dog park less than 7 minutes away (Ashley Memorial Dog Park) which we took advantage of early each morning. Hotel provided breakfasts were excellent and we will stay here whenever we visit Auburn.
