We've stayed at almost all Cambria Inns hotels except for Blue-Dolphin Inn and at almost all Pacifica Hotels with exception of El Colibri. Fireside Inn is among our favorite. The elevated patio-ocean view king gave us a clear view of the ocean unlike other hotels that are on ground level. The hotel is definitely pet-friendly and I believe all rooms are pet-friendly, not just a few designated rooms. Also, they had a 50 lb. dog limit on their pet policy but they allowed us to bring our 7-month old 65 lb. well behaved Doberman with us (we verified with the front desk before booking).

Staff was very pleasant. Nice quaint room with King bed, clean and fresh smelling. Ocean was right across the street! Would definitely come back again.

All three of us really enjoyed our stay at the Fireside Inn and our walks across the street on the boardwalk at Moonstone Beach. The accommodations were very nice. The town of Cambria is very dog friendly and Robin’s Restaurant on Burton is our favorite place to eat, under the covered patio-garden area. Many of the shop owners invited Rosie in to browse.
We’ve already signed up to return in March. Rosie can hardly wait!

We pulled in late in the evening b/c we didn’t make our original destination and Rick at the front desk not only found us a room, but the rate was $85 less than was advertised online. They were great!!

This hotel is so pet friendly they have the Furriendly package, which provides a bowl, treats, and toy for our dog upon arrival it was great. The staff was so friendly from checkin to checkout, greeting us as well as our dog Copper. They definitely treat fur friends as guests here and I highly recommend this hotel, plus it has amazing patios with ocean views and easy access to the walking path.
