Bernardus Lodge & Spa welcomes two pets of any size for an additional fee of $200 per pet, per stay. Cats are not accepted, and dogs may not be left unattended in rooms. Four-legged friends will receive a water bowl and dog bed at check-in, and there is a grassy area for pet relief on the property. For same day arrivals, please call 877‑411‑3436 to confirm availability of a pet-friendly room.

Just returned from a weekend retreat at the Bernardus Lodge & Spa in Carmel Valley.
We had a lovely suite at the resort very cosy and comfy and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Overall very dog friendly, with the usual amenities for our 4-pawed pals ... my only "observation" would be that there needs to be better access for dining with your dog, at least offer the dinner menu for guests sitting outside on the patio as the bar menu is rather limited and uninspiring ... apart from that a lovely weekend ...
