Staff were amazing! Accommodations were good. We were in the last room, so noisy door slamming all day. Walking distance to several dog friendly restaurants. We loved Teddy’s by the Sea.

Would definitely recommend if you have a dog and are visiting the Santa Barbara area but don't want to pay for a SB hotel. Rooms are a nice size with plenty of space for a dog bed. We were put on the first floor right near an exit to the front that was equipped with a doggy waste bag station and grassy area. You can eat the great complimentary breakfast with your pet in the morning at a small outdoor seating area. And bonus for us -- destination EV charging!

Pros: Lobby cute, staff nice and nice walking areas for your dog around the hotel and surrounding area. Cons: Room air quality was not great. I seemed like air filters in air unit could use a serious changing as it smelled very musty. If you are sensitive to that take note. Had some booking issues with hotel directly but BringFido straightened that out (thanks BF!).

Rooms are a nice size with plenty of space for a dog bed. There are several nice sized lawn areas with bag dispenser and trash cans readily available around the hotel. There is also a small outdoor seating area near the breakfast room if your pup wants to join you. Definitely a winner.

They let us check in early and gave us a room very close to the patio so I can take our dog outside. They also provide doggy bags. The breakfast was tasty and has a lot of options. We were able to eat with our puppy at the outside tables. We will definitely come back.

I would definitely stay here again. Loved it all around. The hotel is modern and clean, staff is friendly, price is great, free loaded breakfast, and there’s a dog beach WALKING distance from the hotel. Carpinteria felt like a calmer, more chill Santa Barbara vibe with less crowds. The hotel is also a 2 min drive to downtown Carpinteria where there’s cool restaurants, shops and breweries. We will be back!

We took the first trip with our two Labradors and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Carp. The hotel was great: clean rooms, plenty of parking easy access to places for our dogs to do their "business". The hotel is five minutes from the beach. The staff was great, breakfast was fine and we will stay again very soon.

I admit I arrived at 2pm for a 3 pm check in and totally understand that I was told a room wasn’t ready, but when I showed back up at 3:10pm and was told they are understaffed because of Covid and room wouldn’t be ready for another 30 mins I was a bit perturbed. I would have thought the staff might have “thrown me a bone” and waived the $15 per fee for having me wait 45 mins past the time I expected to get it. The hotel is also pretty dated.

We enjoyed our stay here and our pup did great! It was reasonably priced at only cost $15/night for our dog. We stayed during Covid though so the morning breakfast was limited and the hot tub/spa was closed. But other than that - it was good. Easy to access room near a lawn for the dogs to use. Free and plentiful parking in a safe area. The fridge and microwave were helpful to us as we were traveling with wet dog food and baby food. Was a great home base as we set out each day and explored. Would go back if we planned to return.

On check in they asked if our dog was eith us, I had to sign a damage agreement (not a problem). We were given a room close to an exit/grass (there are green poop bags at every entrance/exit and trash cans everywhere). The room was clean, beds very comfortable, plenty of pillows, good sized mini fridge with small freezer, microwave, coffee maker. No dogs allowed in the breakfast area, and not allowed alone in the room so we rotated staying with the dog, then ate together in room on the coffee table. Hotel is near the beach and close to shopping/food. After breakfast we had a long walk and syill plenty of time to shower and pack before the 12 noon check out. The only negative is that the parking lot could be better lit at night. Everything else was great, friendly staff, books/games in the lobby, breakfast was prepacked for safety and the pool was open. We only stayed 1 night but we all agreed we will be back.

This hotel was great. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming of our dogs. There is a $15 pet fee per night and you can have up to two dogs. There is plenty of grass outside of the hotel for the dogs to take their breaks in. Would highly recommend.
