I had a long stay here and highly recommend. I do have to say the photos on this app do not do the rooms justice. I was very hesitant to stay here because of the color of walls and decor shown on Bring Fido, but I was pleasantly surprised to find all of the rooms have been repainted a neutral tan/cream color. To some, this may not have any influence but I just feel the aesthetic of a room will make or break someone from wanting to stay at a certain place. The owners and staff are very friendly and accommodating. Hotel is right next door to a laundromat, within close walking distance to the beach, restaurants, neighborhood grocery store and small park to take dogs.
My one and only drawback is there aren’t too many grassy areas around for dogs to go potty. There’s a place directly across the street, a small patch of grass a little walk down the road and the park a couple blocks away. It’s not a problem if your dog hikes his leg and goes anywhere, but if you’re needing a decent place for them to poop without having to pick it up off the sidewalk or street, you will have to go find a place. Overall I definitely recommend staying at Beachwalker Inn.

We enjoyed the good sized pet friendly room at Beachwalker Inn for one night. It was a very convenient ground floor room for my handicapped husband. Our little terrier slept well, and the King sized bed was very comfortable. There was WiFi which was nice to use our Ipad with, though the connection didn't work the next morning, for some reason. We enjoyed the restaurant (Sea Shanty)for dinner, and were within a few blocks for coffee shops, the Brown Sugar Cookie Company, and the Cayucos Sausage Co, then time at the beach and Pier. I would recommend this Inn as a pleasant and clean choice that fit our modest budget. It was in a nice neighborhood with lovely homes to take dog walks.

We had a unexpected change of plans and needed a one night stay before driving home a long distance. This fit the bill, but it's a no frills property, floor was vinyl and felt tacky so recommend bringing socks. It accommodated the two of us in a very comfortable king bed with our two dogs. No view, no ambiance. It suited our purposes for one night.
