After driving for 12+ hours and getting stuck in the city for 2 hours, I needed a hotel stat. Traveling with a dog makes this difficult. There is a long stretch from the city (didn't want city prices or traffic) without hotels nor dog friendly hotels. There is a small cluster of hotels around the area but all have outrageous dog fees as well as pricey rooms. I chose this hotel because the dog fee was much less.
I am not sure what was wrong with the front desk clerk but I felt like I was talking to a rock. The girl kept reminding me that they were an extended stay hotel and that they dog fee was expensive (I felt she didn't want my business but was too tired to go elsewhere). I had to explain 3 times how to spell my name even though she had my drivers license. She even asked if the DMV spelled it correctly. It took 20+ minutes to check in because this person was so slow!
Room was older but ok. I would feel bad for anyone staying here for several nights. The windows were open so I went to close them. One fell shut at a touch. Had my fingers been in the way, I'd be without. Scary! Bathroom door kept creeping open. Shower handle was temperamental. Room was super noisy! Heard everyone on every side of me. Wifi kept flickering. I had the option to buy a better speed but I think they do this to the wifi on purpose.
I would not recommend this place unless under desperate measures.
