The room was clean, the staff up front we're as friendly and helpful as they possibly could be! The breakfast they serve is fantastic! Homemade waffles, eggs, sausage, gravy, biscuits and more! Very nice room, my dogs loved it too! Highly recommend!

The night I stayed here, there were a lot of construction workers also staying at this hotel (there was construction going on along the main road). It was a bit loud.

Rooms are newly renovated and look great. The location right on the beach was amazing. The only thing it would need is AC. Loved our stay and our dog was in heaven.

The hotel was absolutely great. Clean and had a nice warm breakfast despite COVID. That being said, downtown Eureka is overrun with homeless and many storefronts are shut down. It really seems like a sleepy city in despair.

The pet relief area was a bit hard to find, not well lit if approaching from the west. Otherwise, room was nice, good selection for breakfast and you can grab snacks for the road. If you are willing to walk five minutes down the road to the Elk River Access there is a lovely 1.5 mile water walk along the Bay.

Room was a nice size and clean with a view of the garden. The building is horseshoe shaped with a nice garden with a koi pond in the middle. There was a sliding glass door that opened up to the garden. Our dog loved to stick her head through the rails of the balcony and look down on the garden. She seemed very comfortable in the room.
There is a nice trail, right down the street, next to the water that you can walk your dog. There are small areas of grass in the garden to take your dog to do there thing with convenient trash cans near the area.
The breakfast in the morning was a better than the average compared to the places that Serve breakfast in the morning. A little larger selection of items and the staff was very good at keeping every replenished.
The Best Western Bayshore Inn is a couple miles south of the historic downtown. It is in a newer area with a couple restaurants right next to it. I wanted to stay at the Best Western next to downtown Eureka but they are not pet friendly and the area is a little more dicey.
I would definitely recommend the Best Western Bayshore to my family and friends.
