The Lakehouse Resort welcomes two dogs up to 25 lbs for an additional fee of $75 per night (not to exceed $150 per stay). Dogs may be left in the room unattended only while the guest remains on the property. Pet relief areas include a lakeside lawn with waste stations and walking paths. Sorry, cats are not permitted. Pets up to 50 pounds are allowed with a 50 non refundable fee per stay. Local attractions include Legoland the wild animal park and the San Diego Zoo. Services include boat rentals room service valet laundry service and free parking. Pets are allowed. We stayed at this hotel for our wedding weekend with our first pup and she just had the best time. There is the dock and lake to walk buy, plenty of neighborhood to stroll through for walks, a balcony, and kind staff. They offered us a poop bag dispenser, bowl and toys. We stayed again for our anniversary, this time with both of our smaller dogs and they LOVED it. It's so nice to be able to bring them and spoil them too. This hotel is the best!!!

Our dog Tiki had a great time. Our room was ground level by the pool. She loved looking out the sliding door. She loved walking around. Just wish they had grassy areas for the dogs to do their business.

We spent two days there. Pros: It very picturesque with golf, tennis, boating and several pools. Great place for families although there isn’t much area for a dog to take a quickie late night walk, but if you go a block or two, near the golf course, it is a nice jaunt for the dogs and humans . Rooms are nice. They have foam mattresses which we are no sure if we like. The hotel restaurant had good food, if a bit pricey and music in common areas was a rather loud. They also have a $20 resort fee as well as pet fee but If you go when it is not height of the season and get a good rate, is a nice holiday.
