First of all, the good part: The building is old, but very solid. I was very surprised at how quiet it is. As with all Motel 6's it is a very basic room, which is fine...the price was great! They are in the process of doing some upgrades, which it really needs. The rooms are large with hard floors so perfect for pets. The beds are comfortable and clean; two pillows per bed, but they are TINY! There is a fridge and microwave in the room which was nice. The guy at the front desk was very friendly and helpful which we really needed. I wish I had gotten his name.
Now the not so good: The first room we were in did not have a working AC unit, so we had to move. Kind of a hassle. Once we got settled in a new room (where the AC worked great!), we had problems getting the TV to work. 2 different remotes, and neither worked very well, but we made do with that. Both the Tub and the sink did not drain very well. For the most part the room was clean, but could really use a little more work. It is certainly an ok place to stay, but there is a reason the price is so low. Just have reasonable expectations. I would stay there again with my pets.

Appears to have been recently upgraded. Laminate wood floors, tiled shower, very spacious room. It looked like they had a person walking around the building at night, so felt safe. Location is okay, lots of overflow trucks from the adjacent truck stop. Near gas. If you stay drive the five miles to Frazier Park at eat at Caveman Caveys Pizza. Thursday night from 5-7 there's a local band playing on the patio. We stayed til 7:30 and they were still playing.... mostly a local hangout. Good pizza too.

Rooms are very basic. The first room I had smelled like bleach and burned my nose! The parking lot was sketchy and dirty. The staff was friendly and gave me a new room that didn’t smell as bad. Grassy area is small and patchy. Bags provided. No fee for having my pup. Food choices not bad 5 miles up the road. One bone for friendly staff.

I don’t know if the sewage in the hotel spilled, but it smelled like it. I wouldn’t have stayed had it not been for the fact I was so tired after driving all day. The good news is the place and room location especially was really quiet. But this is a motel that hasn’t been brought up to date with the Motel 6 “look”. So there were carpets and it just hasn’t been updated for at least 100 years. The A/C unit was falling off the wall. But it had A/C and in the desert, that’s a good thing!

Not only was this motel perfect for my dog, but me as well! It was very clean and the front staff was extremely helpful; I forgot my iPad there and they even sent it back to me in perfect condition :)

For a Motel 6, it was good. The room seemed clean and check in was easy. The location is truck stop so there are the typical services; gas and fast food.
