  Clean, adequately appointed. Quiet despite being fully booked. Location within walking distance of a great coffee and food shop. Would make a point of staying here again.

  A regular stop

  We travel back and forth between Los Angeles and Seattle, and Mt. Shasta is the natural half-way point. We usually roll in late, and they've always been ready for us, with a key waiting and a room ready for us to crash in. My dog loves the neighborhood, and walks it like it's his own stomping grounds. There's food and coffee within a minute walk of the the hotel, and downtown with tons more food and shops is only a couple minute drive away. The location is perfect, the place is dog friendly, and even if the rooms are a little old, everything has been clean and worked perfectly. We stay here several times a year and can always count on getting a good night's sleep at Shasta Inn.

  Lovely stay

  Quick stop here with lovely accommodations for dogs. Pleasant staff as well. Restaurant dining nearby very limited with dog in tow but the hotel has outdoor seating that was shaded (it was still well into the 90’s at dinner time!).

  Nice motel

  The room and grounds were prefect for us and our dog. Even though they were completely booked it was a very quiet night. The lobby is pet friendly so we were able to enjoy coffee and a light breakfast with the other guests. We will be staying here again.

  Pleasant stay

  The Shasta Inn is a clean, conveniently located motel with an excellent dinner restaurant on site. The room was spacious and comfortable. There is dog area located in the center of the complex which is convenient.

  Loved this place!

  It was clean, comfortable, cute, cozy (read small ), and warm; perfect for a chilly night in Shasta. My dog was very comfortable. There is a very convenient lawn area for your dog’s comfort. The staff is friendly. The Mexican restaurant across the street was great. The town is charming. I hope to return! 🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶

  Good location

  Enjoyed the Shasta Inn. Had a place for the dog to do its business. Could walk to downtown. Only thing is you could hear the attached units TV. I would stay again on our way home again.

  Clean and well cared for properly. Small bathroom but nice room overall. We would stay here again if we are in the area.

  Room was uncomfortably small but everything else was more than acceptable. Clean, neat and dog friendly. Restaurant was splendid and food was tasty. Owner was quite sociable and concerned.

  Cozy Inn in a good location

  I like the pet fee was not a per night charge. The Inn is in a good location, close to pet friendly coffee shop and restaurants. Only a few blocks from center of town. Clean and comfortable. Fridge and microwave in the room. Air unit is loud when it kicks on, so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. We were there mid week but there is a restaurant on site open on the weekend.

  Very accommodating and dog friendly

  We arrived super late but the Shasta Inn turned the lights on for us. Very easy check-in/out. Super dog friendly, nice accommodations in a cute mountain town. We would definitely visit again!

  Great stay

  We loved our visit to Shasta Inn. Some people may not appreciate the active train track about 1/4 mile away but we liked it. Many dog friendly eateries within walking distance. Easy walk up to our room. We will go back.

  Good value and dog friendly

  The property and staff are dog friendly. Bar is open only Wed to Sat and no restaurant. Ask for room on ground floor if you have dogs. There will be some ambient noise of people outside and upstairs but overall, it's pretty quiet.

  Great location!

  Nice room for just myself and a dog. A bit small for more people or pets. Great location for walking to nearby restaurants and parks. The walls are thin!

  Good location for Shasta area explorer.

  Just off the I-5 and two nice coffee shops within walking distance. Needless to say the convenient access to Mt Shasta. For dinners, easy and walking distance to world cuisines (Chinese, Mexican, American, Thai, Italian) and a liquor shop. Cozy doggy break place in the property. High noise penetration from the next-door rooms were a minus. TV and talking voice can be a trouble if you have a loud neighbor who doesn’t sleep till late. Other than that, very tidy and cozy room and I found a young woman at the reception very friendly and professional. Want to come back again for a weekend trip!

  Clean Rooms, Nice People

  Easy in and out, nice walking in the neighborhood, and trash cans on the street! Room was clean and nice with plenty of space for 2 humans and 2 big dogs. We made sure to keep the dogs off the hotel beds as we were asked :) Great spot, will for sure be back.
