    Very dog friendly

This hotel is wonderful! Close to the coast and lighthouse, small but smartly designed with kitchens in rooms, and comfortable for all creatures. They give bones and a doggie bag to your pet on arrival. I look forward to staying here again!

Perfect spot for a few days

Head left out of the driveway and you will run into the beach.

    New mattress needed

Worst bed I’ve ever slept in. Hardly slept a wink. No advertised dog accessories in room.

    It was ok

The Inn was ok. Nothing special. We had a nice room with a kitchenette. We did have people above us so that made it uncomfortable for the dogs due to the banging and slamming (they had children jumping around). Not many places to take the dogs to relieve themselves without really going for a walk. Good location. Nothing special for the dogs. We would stay here again as long as we don’t have to stay with people above us.

    Decent Inn for the Price

This is not a 5 star resort, however it is a decent enough place, clean, pleasant staff, and reasonably priced with good location. The fire pit area was open and nice, but not very big and too many people were already there to allow us usage.

Cons are that the bed was uncomfortable for us, room and door to the room was not well insulated, and there was rust on the bathtub. Hot tub currently not available for usage due to Covid.

    Great location

Friendly service from the very beginning! Nick offered a dog bed and an extra sheet to make my dog more comfortable. The room was nice and clean, so I was comfortable, too.

The beach was just a short walk from my room. I also liked that the parking was so easy and right outside my room. The neighborhood is so pretty.

I ended up extending my stay!

    Great area for walking

Older motel with upgraded rooms. Great with our dog, they provided a dish, sheet for the bed and treats. Staff was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay!

    Great spot!

Great location, comfy bed, very nice person at the desk. Great for pets. Only down side was the heater makes loud, scary noise when it kicks in. However, once you get used to it is ok. Great little spot.

Cute Hotel but customer service is poor. Service is hit or miss.

We booked 2 days at this hotel as we traveled up the CA coast. We stayed a Thursday & planned to stay Monday on our way home. The weather didn’t allow us to make it back on Monday. So I called & asked to switch the reservation for the following day. I was told “There’s a lobby full of people. Please book online. I booked it online. I was charged for both Monday & Tuesday. I called ‘ tried to explain what happened but was told no refund would be given. Our room on Thursday was beautiful and clean. Our room on Monday was dirty & the heater didn’t work. I was ok with the variation in room accommodations but now that I know I was charged double for a crappy room with no heat & no dogs bowls & sheets even thought I paid the pet fee of $60.

Again, the first night stay was great the second night was horrible.

    Enjoyed our stay

This is a very clean comfortable inn. There were dog treats, bowls and a couple sheets to cover the bed for the dog. You are not allowed to leave your pet in the room. There is no designated pet relief area and there is very little grass nearby but these are common problems in a beach town.

    Not Too Bad

They set out a dog bed, a water bowl, and biscuits for the pups which was really nice. The hot tub and fire pit was nice in the evening. We couldn’t get the a/c to work in our room so we had leave the bathroom window open and use the box fan that was in the closet. Everything else worked fine. We woke up to ants covering our bag of snacks we had on the counter so be extra careful about leaving food around! Overall it was fine for a couple of nights.

    Great place

We only stayed one night but we really enjoyed our room. A little gift was left for our dogs (treats) and a dog bed (with their own sheet). The room was very nice. Location of the hotel was great - east to get around. We were a little stuffy and couldn’t open the window as it would allow everyone to see right in (one story hotel). We couldn’t get the air to work. Otherwise, a perfect little dog friendly hotel.

    Very dog friendly

We booked using BringFido and on the room waiting for us was a dog bed, bowl and 2 doggy treats. The bed was a bit too small for our big guy but we'd brought our own.

Hotel is clean, just a few minutes drive out of Monterey and close to beaches and the town.

Breakfast is small and not much seating but fine to grab and go back to your room

    Great Little Spot

Our dog loved the dog bed and treats. Bathroom was really new and clean. Absolutely no complaints from me or my pooch!

    Buyer Beware

I recently stayed at this hotel. I made a reservation over the phone with a credit card. When I called a few hours later, the last night of my stay was no longer available. I checked in to the hotel @ 8:45pm. I paid and was not given an itemized receipt. When I got the receipt later, I realized I had been charged for 2 dogs instead of the 1 I brought. I asked for a wake up call for the next day at 7 which I never got. There was construction with drilling going in in the next room the whole time I stayed there. I found out later, the entire hotel staff leaves at 9pm and returns at 8 am, which explains the no wake up call. My hotel electronic keys stopped working several times. If the staff is gone when this happens, I guess you sleep in your car. The TV did not work and was mounted crookedly. The fridge was turned off. Construction dust covered my car. I tried to get the owners information from the manager, who said it is not availble. I said it must be online. There was a sign in the room that if you check out late, you’ll be charged for another night. The staff could not figure out how to work the clock radio. They day of checking out I found trash glued to the roof of my car.
