The hotel is located very centrally with lots of great doggie friendly restaurants nearby. The room was nice.
The one downside was that the air conditioner cycled on and off all night, so none of us got a very restful sleep.
Also the plug in air fresheners in the hallways are strong smelling and not very good for air quality but maybe that is personal preference.

This hotel location is perfect if your plans are to explore downtown Palm Springs. It's in the middle of EVERYTHING. There's a nice area upfront to sit and people watch also. Everyone was friendly to fido. Room was a bit dated with a ceiling leaking in bathroom and a dirty tub, otherwise clean and smelt good. We had a balcony and beautiful view of the mountain to enjoy in the a.m. There is NO room service - I suspect still a covid thing - but if you ask the front desk they were accommodating.
There is only a tiny 10ft (apx) dirt area on the side of the bldg for pets to relieve themselves so be prepared to walk the block. It ended up being over 100 outside so this presented a problem finding a cool place to walk him, but if you go out the parking garage to the back of the building an walk along the golf course it is a cooler and more shaded route - easier on the pups. They put us on the 6th floor. I would have preferred a ground floor BUT this was our first trip with our fido and I didn't think to ask where the room was - so I won't fault them for that. You just might want to ask if you are thinking of booking here and it matters to you. Overall we were happy with our stay.
