Safe Stay: La Quinta Inn & Suites Paso Robles has enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place, and follows the Count on Us (Wyndham) cleanliness and sanitization policy. All of the basics here are covered if you were a dog owner: grassy area for dogs, reasonable prices, nice facility.
But, we couldn’t help to be a bit disappointed with some of the pandemic impacts on our stay: fitness room closed, limited continental breakfast, no wine/cheese in the evenings ...
But, it’s still good and the rooms were nice, everything was clean and worked. If you go in with the knowledge that services are limited during the pandemic, you’ll enjoy your stay here.

Had a really good time here. Room was big and clean. Bed was comfy. We were on the first floor and there were places outside for dogs to go potty. We spent time at cayucus beach and Cambria. Can’t wait to go back.

La Quinta Inn in Paso Robles was located between downtown and the the east side wineries. During COVID, their check in was fast and easy. We actually never saw another guest except in the parking lot. The dogs were welcome and there were plenty of spots around the parking lot with plants and wood chip beds for the dogs to sniff and do their business.

Great location, friendly staff and large clean rooms. Very good breakfasts. Lots of choices. One star deducted because of location of the room we had which was on the 2nd floor. Our room was as far as you can get to the only exit(front door)to the outdoors. No specific potty area.

We love to stay here, the rooms are large, the bathrooms big and they are very pet friendly. They are currently renovating the front desk so the breakfast and evening wine tasting are not pet friendly. Not a proteas there were 2 of us but something to keep in mind. The hotel anticipates the renovations will complete early in February 2020.

Not only was this place pet friendly but human friendly.
Plenty of grass space outside with poobags. All areas were pet friendly except the dining area. (I understand)
Very friendly and understanding staff. When my human left a bag of clothes, they overnighted it, without charge!

Good location, easy if traveling with dogs. We have an older pup and a puppy that likes to talk. No one ever complained about our little talker.

Tons of dogs at this hotel! Lots of area for your pup. Front desk acted distracted all the time. Rooms could have been cleaner. Nice wine glasses in the room as you would expect from this area. Were already out of coffee by 6:30 AM, had to keep asking for them to bring more. That said from a dog perspective all good!

Lots of space for Fido to walk and relive themselves with clean up bags provided.
Room was very comfortable with a lovely, soft mattress. Still no extra pet fee (yet) at this hotel.
Breakfast was decent though no pets allowed in the lobby/breakfast area.

I was a bit scared and didn’t know what to expect since it was my first time traveling with my fur baby. Let’s just say WOW!!!! We are making Paso Robles a yearly trip now! Not only is the hotel pet friendly but there are multiple pet friendly wineries as well! We are so happy with our stay. The rooms are clean and spacious. We can’t wait for our next roadtrip in a few weeks :)

Traveling on a road trip with my family and dog, this hotels staff made our stay uber fantastic. We ended up requesting to extend our stay and the front desk did some shuffling and made it work, upgraded to the king suite and was not disappointed. The complimentary breakfast is awesome. Again, the staff was amazing and the rooms were terrific. Do be cautious of the black bird that lives in the trees near the main lobby, it's very aggressive.
