  Just ok

  We were placed by the freeway. Nothing for our puppy - no bowls or treats, parking was tight, and no restaurants on premises. Have stayed at better hotels for the price.

  Excellent Setting

  We loved everything about this place. There was access to the dog friendly beach nearby, and a great game deck with lots of fun options for everyone. Beautiful, clean property, and the rooms were stunning. I loved all the nautical decor. The beds were comfortable, and breakfast is included. Spot enjoyed lots of pats from people passing by. There’s even covered parking! The staff was very attentive. We are definitely going back!

  Perfect Couples Getaway

  We booked a suite with another couple for the weekend. We had looked for a dog friendly, yet clean suite that we could share comfortably. The suites were spacious enough for all of us and our dogs. The staff also blew us away with how accommodating they were. We wanted to upgrade to an ocean view room our second night and they moved all of our luggage over for us! I’d definitely recommend staying here! Oh and the freshly baked cookies And complimentary dog treats were just the cherry on top. We would definitely stay again.

  Great room

  We really enjoyed our stay. The room was perfect for extended family included my pup, Zoe. Walk out right onto grass with a beautiful view. Along a great path to walk and great location to get into Pismo fast. Would definitely recommend.

  Awesome family and dog friendly hotel

  We were so pleasantly surprised with our stay at Pismo Lighthouse Suites. The room was super spacious and well appointed, the staff friendly and helpful, our pup was welcomed, and the views of the ocean were incredible. I love that there was a path to the ocean we could easily walk to, and that there was plenty for the kids to do: Swim, corn hole, outdoor chess and checkers, board games, beach...wonderful!! We will definitely be coming back, thank you!

  Very dog friendly - dog fees a little high

  Great location. Very dog friendly. Left lovely gifts for our pups in the form of treats (of course!).

  We stayed in a ground floor oceanfront room that has great access to grass.

  Only complaint is that the per-night dog fees are quite high: $50/night/dog, so with two dogs and a longer stay, it really adds up. Would be great if this were per stay rather than per night.

  Very Dog Friendly

  Stayed here for a few days in October 2019. Had an oceanfront room on the first floor. The room was very large with a King size bed and sofabed. The room came with a dog blanket, food bowl and treats. There was a private balcony looking out to the ocean where the dogs could sunbathe. The grassy area directly out back for the dogs to relieve themselves, and it was close to dog-friendly restaurants, beach and play area. Would recommend for a great view and dog friendly.

  Great for Canines and People too!

  This is a great location along the ocean to pause on a trip along the coast. We felt like our dog was welcome and that was refreshing! We had made a reservation at another hotel before this one, and when I called to double check if they were pet friendly, they were horrified that I even asked! It's nice that the rooms were clean, comfortable, and inviting...and we could bring our pet along. Thank you!

  Great hotel!

  Bear and Benson has a great time at this place. I paid a little bit extra to get the suite facing the water because it has a grass area right outside your gated patio. It was worth it to not have to go down the stairs to take them out potty every time. Our room came with a blanket, treats and a dog bowl. There was also paper with dog friendly places to eat, hiking trails , wineries, breweries, vets etc..
  Our room was clean and spacious too.
  I would definitely recommenced this place :)

  All Dogs Welcome

  Great place to stay with your dog. Suites-on lower floor right out to grass area by amazing ocean views. Water bowl, doggie blanket and treats will be waiting for your pup. This place is worth the price.

  Pismo Lighthouse Suites

  Very nice newly renovated oceanfront room with kitchenette, patio and grass access. $50 pet deposit which is reasonable/refundable. Nice doggy package with bowl, blanket, and treats! Scenic cliff walk to Pismo Beach..a rainy day so we had the entire beach to ourselves. They also had complimentary breakfast and covered parking. Our dogs gave it a paws up!

  Great Stay!

  Good location. Oceanfront suite was perfect for staying with our 2 dogs. Patio had gate directly out to grassy area.

  The best place for your money

  I have stayed at this hotel several times with my dogs. They are greeted at the entrance with a goodie bag and are welcomed by the staff. It has a fenced area for dogs and the rooms are spacious and very clean. The place also has a lot of privacy. The rooms are sectioned off with a living room area that has a sliding door to a bedroom area. Some of the rooms have a patio door that goes straight to the fenced dog area. Your dog can be off leash there and have a good time. They serve a free breakfast and they have a cocktail hour. Overall, in comparison with the other places in the area, this is the best place for your money.
