    Ok Not Great

Ok not great. Hotel staff and rooms were great, but there aren’t many places to take your dog (especially at night) which offer any grass or feel safe.

    great hotel

The only real knock on the place was the limited area in which to take our dog to do his business. And the beds are pretty uncomfortable (for the price). Other than that it was a great hotel, we loves the aesthetics, the view, the staff and all else!

    Dog friendly

Staff were friendly and welcoming. They allow big dogs. Hotel room was spacious - good for big dogs. One block from Capitol park. Only issue is $100 pet deposit. Wish it was less but overall very nice hotel stay

    The Perfect Treat!

We stayed here after a long week of camping and it was glorious! They upgraded me to a higher floor and the view was spectacular. There was a big tub to wash my dog and she loved the King sized bed. Located downtown, walking distance to the Capitol and lots of cool restaurants. TV has streaming options too, not just cable. Staff was delightful. I would absolutely stay here again if we came through town. There is a $100 pet fee so make note of it but we were SO happy!

    Poor customer service

I booked my stay 100 miles out. On arrival the front desk walked away. I waited several minutes. Another worker stopped by to ask if I’ve been helped. I hadn’t. He gets her. More waiting.

I place my 20lbs bag on a table, she says I’ll be right with you.

    More waiting.

She arrives and says she can’t find my reservation. Time past since booking 2 hours.
I show her my email, my drivers license, my credit card, my credit card statement showing the purchase.

She says she can’t it and will have to charge me directly while I cancel thru BringFido.

    I refuse.

    I leave.

I find at the car she had kept my drivers license and credit card.

    I return.

Security is waiting and watching thru the glass doors that are locked.

I did retrieve my dl and cc to which I used up the street at the Kimsley, which offered the 11th floor, food and water dish, and drinks.

Ended with a lifetime customer to the Kimsley.

    Great location

The Sheraton was central to the booming downtown Sacramento scene and very welcoming to Charlie and Apollo (pups!).
