    Great stay

    This place was quite comfortable and our border collie was happy to be able to join us.

    Nice location

    Pretty good 2 day stay, dog friendly and they accommodate you, especially if you book through BringFido. The pillows were not good, there was no remote control, and we found one tick in our room. Although it is a high tick area! Overall good stay!

    Loved the city, not the hotel.

    The hotel is a older location and used the stairs rather than the elevator, because it was shorter to use the stairs. The rooms are outside. It’s not an indoor hotel. Probably would book at another hotel if I came to San Diego area again

    Could have been better

    The hotel room itself was ok. But there were inconsistent policies when it came to who was allowed in the room. Because of COVID, housekeeping was not allowed in the room. We were fine with that. However, the TV and internet guys were there and were “required” to enter our room to update. We checked in around 5:30. They knocked on our door at about 6. The manager should have had that update done BEFORE we checked in. I called the desk and they said the tv guys could do the update after we checked out. Called the front desk in the morning to just make sure nobody would be in our room that day and Charlene informed me we HAD to let the tv guys in. I was furious. Still am. We won’t be back.

    Do not stay here! This place is disgusting. The carpet was filthy and ruined our socks. At night there were roaches in the bathroom. I would have left but it was already midnight and we were driving all day. I've stayed in several La Quintas and this was by far the worst. The dog area was filled with feces and garbage along with homeless people below. Definitely do not recommend.

    Inexpensive place to stay if you have a pet. Room smelled of urine and cleaners for pet smell, as you would expect. It didn’t bother me, but my girlfriend was more sensitive.

    Never again

    My husband and I picked this hotel because 1. It was close to the hospital my husband was having surgery at. 2. Because they allowed big dogs and no pet fee. 3. Check out was at noon. When I say never again I mean NEVER EVER AGAIN! The “pet area” was was covered in dog feces and ants everywhere! My husband had surgery on 9/10/20 after his surgery we where given temporary handicap tags. We where unable to park in any of the handicap parking spots! Not because there wasn’t parking available it was because cars who DID NOT have handicap tags or plates took up the parking! Even company Business cars parked in The handicap parking!!! So my husband has to walk across the parking lot because of this. We stayed in room 216 the individuals in room 214 where HEAVY weed smokers even though through out the whole building it states “this is a 100% smoke free hotel” yeah right!!! The smell of their marijuana not only made our room smell but they walk way as well because they would have their room cracked open. They also where loud and arguing in the middle of the night which made it hard to sleep. The trash area of the hotel was Completely overflowing and even had a burnt mattress. Check out for this hotel is not until noon which is one of the reason why we picked it because it is convenient. However, we where out of there by 6 am! If my husband was able to withstand a 3 hour car ride home after his surgery we would have left that day!!! We will DEFINITELY NOT be back!!!

    The room looked nice, but there was dried poop on the carpet! The front desk had it removed. However, the next morning, when I pulled back the bed sheets, there were brown poop stains!! When I spoke with housekeeping, they said it had to be from the carpet tracking from my socks. The sheets were changed and the carpets cleaned. I cant believe I was walking in poop!!! I have never had a room this filthy before in my life! I do not recommend this place. Even the elevator floor was dirty! The only response I received was, that they were full that weekend and were sorry-though they know it was no excuse.

    Very clean

    Great place to stay with pets. We stay here every time we visit San Diego with our 2 dogs.

    Very comfortable

    Room was great for my dogs. Potty area was fine; I did get put off a few times because a couple of random cars had parked right there and the drivers were just sitting in there.

    Just ok.

    Not as clean and nice as the pictures let on. Pillows are too small (size of airplane pillows), and the non smoking room smells of cigarette smoke.
