Super relaxed. My husband and I were wrapping up a long trip with our dog Joy when we paused for two nights final stop to catch our breath in South Tahoe. Small king room had all we needed. Comfy bed. Nicely renovated. Joy was welcome in the lobby and common areas on leash and on very nice balcony of adjoining Toulouse Restaurant. We met interesting travelers during relaxed happy hour and are now back home revived and with great memories of people and our favorite hike on the lake.
When I drove into the parking lot I was amazed at how many dogs were already there. The staff was inviting and friendly. Room felt like a little cabin, which was very fitting for Lake Tahoe. I would certainly stay here again.
We stayed here for a week and would definitely come back! They are truly dog friendly with a reasonable dog fee, have excellent customer service, and it's a clean and updated hotel.
We loved the location. Quiet and lots of grassy areas to sniff and pee. Needed to upgrade to a larger room. Cozy king was small for a 2 night stay. We would stay again. Wanted to use bar and restaurant but there wasn’t a covered dry area with the rain.
Nice location that is close to the beach yet quiet. Easy to walk to nearby stores and restaurants. Appreciated all the outdoor seating areas and amenities.
Station House Inn is in a great location, just a short walk from Casinos, Heavenly Village, and a private beach (not dog friendly) in South Lake Tahoe. Other public and dog friendly beaches are just a short drive (10 min) away. The inn has a restaurant attached, which serves delicious food, and has a dog friendly deck.
Our initial room that we booked through this website was extremely small. The front desk staff (kittie) was able to get us a larger room. We have 2 German Shepherds. Wish there were more amenities but overall worked out ok.
My pup and I had a great experience at The Station House Inn! The lake is just a short walk from the hotel. My dog had the best time exploring the area! The staff also ensured she had a great stay, offering treats upon check-in as well as providing a water bowl and pet blanket. We’ll be staying at The Station House Inn for our next adventure as well!
