Pets can only use the side entrances to enter the hotel. There are small grassy areas along the street and behind the hotel for pet use.

    Safe Stay: The Inn at Truckee has enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place. Masks and hand sanitizer are provided to guests, and rooms are disinfected between each stay and sealed after cleaning. Social distancing measures are in place, as well as physical barriers between staff and guests. Cashless payment is available. Each room has a 24-hour gap period between stays, and hotel staff are required to wear masks.

      Good location

      Room next to breakfast area. Noise started at 6am.

      OK

      Lots of noise from the freeway and the smell of pot coming through the vents made for an interesting stay. My pup was exhausted and slept well, but me not so much. Nice grassy area out front and we sat outside at a picnic table to relax.

      Good location but a bit overpriced

      A bit overpriced for what it was but it was quiet and easy to find. However, there is no elevator & we were on the 3rd floor. Normally not an issue but we had an older dog & stairs are difficult. Just an FYI in case you get stuck with a room on an upper floor.

      Great location if traveling on 80

      Just stayed one night but Sunny loved the walkway across the street. Desk receptionist was very nice. Warned me about a mother bear and cubs seen around. Right off route 80 so a few trucks staying there but the noise of Rte 80 didn’t bother us. Went to eat at FiftyFifty brewing co. Very dog friendly!

      Wonderful 3 star property

      Set is up on ground floor so it was easy to get dog stuff in/out. The room was very clean. I slept soundly. The breakfast was limited, but more than adequate. There are a CVS, a grocery store, and several restaurants nearby. I booked a stay for my return home before I left. Definitely more than satisfied with my stay.

      Is it really pet friendly?

      I didn’t see any doggy waste bags anywhere. They didn’t provide us any dog bowls. Basically the dog was allowed to sleep in the room for an extra fee. But he wasn’t allowed in the room alone and there wasn’t anything else all that pet friendly about the place.

      Comfortable for my pooch

      The room was clean and updated. The noise from other rooms was slightly audible thru the walls and spaces under other guest room doors, but it was a nice place that accepts any size dogs (and cats).

      Nice Quiet Place

      Check-in was easy with my puppy. Room was comfortable. Very pretty setting.

      In the middle of nowhere

      The place is fine but it's out of the way. Kind of a truck stop. You have to drive anywhere.
