This Days Inn was a lot nicer than we were expecting. It was very clean, and had hardwood vaulted ceilings on the second floor. The bed was comfortable, and checking in and out was simple. My only complaint was that the few grassy patches that the property had also had “No Dogs” signs. There was absolutely nowhere for her to go, so she went right on the sidewalk and we cleaned up after her. I still gave 5 bones because we paid $80/night, which was very good for the area. If it was more expensive, I would’ve docked a star for not having anywhere for my dog to go. I would stay here again.

Based on Google reviews of ALL the hotels in Ukiah, I was very apprehensive to stay in town. Saw Motel 6 South and Quality Inn didn't want to stay there based on the crowds outside. Ended up at Days Inn and was pleasantly surprised. It was renovated during COVID, and it appears well kept. There wasn't a ground floor room available, but that was fine. Check-in employee was friendly, professional, and helpful/accommodating.
Second floor rooms had vaulted ceilings. Clean. Carpet appeared vacuumed. Room was spacious and well appointed. No bugs of any kind (no bed bugs, no roaches, etc). Microwave and fridge. Hot water and very high water pressure. Cute pool area. Restaurant on site. Cons: 1) it was in the 90s when we arrived around 8pm and the ac in the room wasn't on. The AC worked very well and blasted super cold air, but it took a couple hours to really get the room temp down. 2) There isn't a great place to let the dogs go to the restroom. OVERALL: Yes, I would say again and would recommend them.

Days Inn Ukiah is a decently average, clean, comfortable place where I've stayed before. This time, when I arrived at about 6pm, I encountered an apparently inexperienced clerk wearing a political T-shirt who rather abruptly informed me that, no, I would not be given the usual ground-floor pet-friendly king room. Sorry! We've promised them to other guests. Hmmm. After years in personnel management, I know to just smile, persevere and save the big stick til the end.
I pointed out that since I had reservations and had arrived early in the evening, it seemed they would have a way to accommodate me. No, nothing, I was told. I booked the room through BringFido, I added. Suddenly, a small light clicked on and I was told, "Let me check with the manager!" It took about two seconds for the whole operation. "OK! Here's your room." And the room was fine, standard-issue. So, would I stay there again? Hmmm, plenty of other choices in Ukiah. But for whatever reason, if I hadn't booked through BringFido, I think I might have been out of luck.

We were on a ground floor with an outdoor hallway, but there was no real grassy areas to walk the dog. Made the daily constitutional a little more challenging for our fussy old boy.

We are always grateful for pet friendly rentals. The room was clean, the bed was super comfortable, the A/C worked great, there was a refrigerator, WiFi allowed us to continue watching our show on my Laptop, the shower pressure was good. The bedspread was dated and the carpet could probably use a shampoo And one light bulb was out but for the price, it was a really good value. I’ve stayed in Motel 6 before and paid more and the room wasn’t as nice and had some issues so we were very happy. Plus the management was very professional and accommodating.
