Enjoyed the idea that a wing is dedicated to pets, we had a patio door that led outside. Unfortunately there was a minimal amount of green area for the pups, and other guest didn’t bother picking up after them even though waste bags were provided outside. The room was clean even though there were stains on the carpet.

It was cheap so don't expect too much. Dogs are not allowed near the breakfast area, so need to trade off with someone else if you're gonna eat.

Pet owners were assigned bottom floor rooms with patio doors opening to the grassy area for dogs to relieve themselves & there were poop bag stations if you forgot yours. I gave it 4 bones because, even though it was clean & had friendly staff, the hotel is starting to show its age (outside doors sticking & not opening or closing properly; our patio door locked by putting a rod in to block opening from the outside).

The hotel is dated but the rooms are clean and the staff is excellent! The pet rooms have direct access to a grassy area through your patio sliding door. Grassy area does have pet poo bags and garbage cans. Our room did not have a microwave but it did have a fridge.

The staff was friendly to us and our dog, the rooms a bit older, a good grassy area to walk and the breakfast area very nice. What I didn't like was that our room smelled like smoke covered with air freshener and it was quite strong. Also all the dog rooms are next to each other which made for some barking concerts in the adjoining rooms when we went through the hallway.

This location was excellent for what we needed. We needed somewhere to lay our heads for one night while we were traveling through. The pet friendly rooms are on the first floor and you have a sliding glass door where you can easily take your furbaby to potty! Staff at the hotel were super kind and friendly. The room was clean, but in NO way luxurious so as long as you have reasonable expectations, this is a good option. The bed was not super comfortable, but I didn’t book this hotel expecting that it would be. The room consisted of the bare necessities and could use an update, but, again, we knew that we had not booked at a 4 or 5 star hotel so our expectations were not high. I would stay here again for a quick overnight trip. For a longer trip, I might look for something a little more updated and comfortable. The rate was reasonable considering it is only about 15 minutes from the Royal Gorge (which is also pet friendly).
