First off I paid extra to have a main floor suite. When I got there I told them my name, spelled it out, then they went to give me a 2nd floor suite. So I called BringFido, on hold for several minutes, but the person I spoke to called the hotel. All of a sudden they had a suite on the main floor. He said he had the wrong name. No, not when I spelled it out for him. So we check in as it was getting late. The door had a big portion of the bottom corner broken off. Letting light in the room the whole night. My husband saw bugs when he went to get ice. The furniture had many chips and cracks. Two different drawers wouldn't shut. We had to stuff them with paper towels to keep them shut.
The beds were hard, had a rim that felt like a waterbed. The paint and wallpaper was peeling. There were dust bunnies top and bottom. No garbage cans outside where you could dispose of dog waste. There was a big bin out the back, where the garbage of all kinds was overflowing. The icing on the cake was a hooker standing outside of her room, shouting and swearing into her phone that it didn't matter how much money she wasn't going to do that. Someone should get the health department in there.

Safe Stay: Maple Crest Inn has enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place. Hand sanitizer is provided to guests, and rooms are disinfected between each stay and sealed after cleaning. Social distancing measures are in place, as well as physical barriers between staff and guests. Contactless check-in and check-out are available. Each room has a 24-hour gap period between stays, and hotel staff are required to wear masks. Guests must provide a negative COVID-19 test result OR proof of COVID-19 vaccination at check-in.
