        Great Location and Rooms

Great room and there were grassy areas for the pets. Another plus was that the pet could be left in the room with a notice on the door handle. Our small dog was happy in the room while we explored Mesa Verde.

        Nice facility, bad breakfast

The motel was clean and comfortable, and the pet area was grassy and centrally located. But the breakfast was disappointing, with the most tasty item being Grape Nut Flakes.

        Good visit

Stayed here last night. All staff was superb. I asked for a ground floor suite and it was provided. Room was good, not great. Expensive. The breakfast was quite good—great local green chile sauce, scrambled eggs that were lightly cooked, decent biscuits. But the best part was that the suite opened out to a enclosed (shared) courtyard. Pup was able to go right out our door without a leash and play around which was great for both her and me.

        Great choice for our dogs

This was a great experience for someone traveling with two dogs! Everyone was friendly and helpful. There is a dog park just down the road so our lab could stretch his legs... at the back of the dog park is a gate with access to a pond for a quick swim. Hotel was clean and comfortable.

        Nice area for dogs

The manager was great and we had a large suite room which was quiet. There was a nice area for the dog albeit small for my big dog. The hotel was conveniently located however the property really needs some updating. Property was rundown and didn't seem all that clean.

        Best for Furbabies

We stayed at the property last night. The manager is the best. Our room was not ready at 5:00. We were given their best suite in apology. They have a grass courtyard, dog treats and suites are roomy and nice. Stay there to relax and refresh if you are visiting the Four Corners area.

        Just Fine

Hadn't planned on staying in Cortez, but I think we found the most friendly place in town. There is a big grassy area to walk your dog, but like another reviewer said, not everyone is courteous enough to clean up after their pets. The staff was very frinedly, and the room was clean and comfortable. Not the fanciest place in the world, but friendly, clean, and dog-friendly. Would reccommend staying at this motel.

        Cortez, CO

THE BEST Best Western we've ever stayed in! Beds were wonderful, everything was very clean, & had a ground floor room with easy access to grassy area in parking lot for our dog! She enjoyed her stay as much as we did!

        Adequate place

We hadn't intended staying in Cortez until we ended up in a ditch. Older motel, but clean and well kept. Free breakfast, small grassy area out front. Would recommend they supply poop bags as other's were not picking up after their pets.

        Large, comfortable room

Plenty of room for the our dog's bed, and there was a large park just a few blocks away.

        Cortez

This was a great place and the dogs loved it. There was a grassy area to take them out. And they gave us a first floor room which was easier with the dogs.
