- ChandlerDec. 30, 2021Renovation?
Seems like the whole place is may be under renovation but nothing new is being put in; just replaced with other old parts. The bed sank down in the middle, the windows wouldn’t close, the remotes didn’t work, the shower had holes in the plastic, there was no toilet paper or Kleenex. Does not look at all like the photos.
- KathleenDec. 26, 2021La Quinta Arapahoe Road
Very quiet. Lucked out with quiet neighbors.
- MaureenOct. 30, 2021Good location
Staff was super friendly. Was a little put off by some stains on the rugs but overall it felt clean.
- AaronOct. 22, 2021Exquisite Appearance and Location
Hotel is pretty much in the middle of the key attractions in town. Hotel looks very lovely and well kept. Breakfast in the morning was extremely delicious, and no issues with my pet or any of the other pets staying at the hotel as well.
- CassandraSep. 20, 2021Great location
We had a few bumps like the Internet not being reliable, but overall I think this is a nice hotel for pet owners. Covid has made it difficult for the hotel staff to keep the hallways clean because residents are putting trash in the hallway. But overall, it was decent as far as cleanliness goes. It was also very quiet.
- CherylSep. 2, 2021Great location!!
We had a wonderful visit. The staff was very friendly.
- DawnAug. 19, 2021Avoid
Rust and mold on bathroom walls. Room smelled like urine. Ants in bathroom, Halls smelled like pot smoke (nonsmoking facility). Shower handle came off in my hand.
- DebbieJul. 19, 2021Nice hotel, no hot breakfast
The hotel was nice, clean and quiet. There was plenty of grass around the parking lot to potty the dogs. Our room was conveniently located on the ground floor near an exit making it easy to take the dogs out. Despite most of the hotels on our cross country road trip offering a full hot breakfast, this hotel is still limited due to the Covid pandemic and only offered a small bag of packaged snacks.
- JudyJul. 10, 2021Not great!
Old room. No breakfast not even “pick up and go” stuff. There was no beverages in the front desk area refrigerator and no vending machines. The bed was ok but the sofa was stained and kind of gross. We didn’t feel comfortable sitting on it. Dog rooms are on bottom floor out of 4 so internet was poor.
Front desk was not pleasant. Also charged $37.50 for incidentals which I’m not sure what they were. Pool was broken. - ErikaJun. 14, 2021Everything We Could Ask For
We’ve been traveling cross country with our pup. As those of you traveling with pets know, it can be a challenge to find nice hotels that allow pets. This is one of them. It’s definitely the nicest we’ve stayed in so far on our journey. The staff was very friendly. The security guard welcomed our little guy with a doggie treat upon arrival. The front desk employee checking us in noted that they put us on the first floor because they know it’s easier to have access to the outdoors when staying with a dog. The rooms were very clean and the hotel smelled lovely. You’d never know this is a pet friendly hotel. The room we stayed in was large as well. Plenty of grass areas for fur babies. Great location which appears to be a growing part of Denver. Target, Walmart, and REI are very close. Food options are also excellent. We were very happy with this stay!
- DavidJun. 12, 2021Where to start
Here were the issues: hallway carpets hadn’t been vacuumed recently, covered in visible debris throughout, room had a strong perfume that seemed to be covering something up, but I couldn’t place it. Tub was plastic and had been repainted, and was not firm to stand on. The room HVAC was also very loud as it cycled on and off. Unrelated to the rating, another guest was smoking in an elevator, causing the smoke alarm to sound around midnight. We all had to wait for the fire department to turn it off. The staff handled it well, and were actually very accommodating to everyone. Maintenance and cleaning were the only issues.
- StephanieJun. 7, 2021Nice Place
Rooms were clean and late-night staff was very friendly and accommodating. Gave us a suite on the first floor for easy access to outside. Unfortunately, the free breakfast grab’n’go bags had run out long before end of breakfast time. Morning staff didn’t seem to care and were dismissive. Also, no staff could be found at checkout time.
- MonteJun. 2, 2021Convenient
Big clean room, a little slow to open pool & breakfast service for holiday weekend (opened 1 June). Friendly service.
- AbbieMay. 27, 2021Rumble in Luxury
We were met with enthusiasm and Rumble got a treat right away. Could have better outdoor space for dogs. Maybe it's the pandemic?
- TaraApr. 10, 2021Great Service- dirty room
Loved the staff, my dogs absolutely loved it. Little dusty and bathtub could have used a clean. Also furniture is better left for the dogs, kinda dirty.
- CherylMar. 28, 2021Great location
Close to everything and big grassy area at hotel. Very quiet.
- BillMar. 11, 2021Great stay
Reasonably priced clean very nice place. While not a lot of green space, there is plenty of places to walk your dog and the location is close to everything. Denver is a very dog friendly city
- KristinFeb. 24, 2021Not a pleasant stay
The room was fine and affordable however we found a cap to a heroin needle right next to the bed when we checked out, we were not happy about it and will probably never stay at a La Quinta again.
- SharonFeb. 18, 2021Great Location
Affordable and clean.
- KevinOct. 15, 2020Nice rooms
Dog potty area is kinda small. Lots of people in the parking lot throughout the night.
- MichaelSep. 20, 2020Room was comfortable and spacious
Our room was on a basement level. It was quiet. It had a separate sitting area in a large bedroom. The bed was comfortable. Inside everything seemed very clean. Outside… Pet owners do not pick up after their pets at this location. The parking lot seem to always have one or more sketchy people hanging around.
- TedAug. 18, 2020Couldn’t be better
Friendly staff. Great location. Clean, comfortable room. So nice to have a place for Jack the Wonder Dog. Really made the trip a joy.
- ChelleAug. 9, 2020Best rooms
Clean, updated, and suite is awesome!
- CatherineJul. 21, 2020Room smelled like pee
A few complaints here. The living room of out room smelled like so much pee it was unbearable. The beds were stiff and uncomfortable. We could not find any doggie waste bin around the hotel. We spent the. ight at a few hotels over the last few days and each of them gave a complimentary breakfast of little bagged pastries and etc during the pandemic here they didn't give any breakfast even though it was supposed to be included.
- MalloryJul. 14, 2020Smells and the rooms are carpet
Dog friendly hotels shouldn't have carpeted rooms. It smelled like Urine and the shower was gross. I wouldn't stay here again. I tried 2 La Quinta's this trip and both were gross. I had better luck and Red Roof and it was $30 cheaper!
- DonelJun. 15, 2020Ok place
I'm not sure why when they remodeled the rooms they put carpet in knowing they allow dogs & not everyone's dogs are potty trained well. Room smelled like pee. There was dog hair on wall by floor and the covers were badly stained. We stayed there but had to get new covers.
- ErinDec. 25, 2019Great room, but grassy area close to traffic
I cannot complain about the service or the accommodations at all! Our room was big, with a sofa in addition to the bed, and with ground floor access, which was great for my fraidy-cat puppy, who isn’t too sure about elevators. My only complaint is that the largest grassy area to take them to potty was right next to a busy road with loud, fast-moving traffic. One of my dogs is super skittish around loud engine noise, and had a really hard time relaxing enough to take care of business out there. Otherwise, our stay was great!
- KristineOct. 6, 2019Great location + Staff fairly welcoming
We enjoyed our stay, however as we were heading out from breakfast a staff member left a bad taste in our mouth. In a very accusatory tone she said if your dog is a service animal they need to wear their vest or you need to leave. I said that he is a service animal and that we’re leaving anyways. It was very loud and disruptive and I’m sure why that staff member couldn’t have asked politely. Another guest told the worker that he had a service animal for many years but they didn’t always wear the vest, and reminded them that they are in customer service. The worker walked away muttering under her breath. The rest of the staff was kind and welcoming.
- AddisonSep. 17, 2019Alright for the night
There's a few small grass areas around the hotel where you can walk your dog but not much else. We were put in a room obviously dedicated to guests with pets; it smelled quite a bit and the drapes and couch were torn up from previous pets.
- JamieDec. 26, 2018Just dandy
Rooms were clean and well maintained/updated, and it was nice having a separate living area and TV. Green space for the dogs was adequate but the only pickup station had no bags available. :(
- Eric & melissaJul. 14, 2018Perfect!
Not only is this a very convienient location in Denver but also the location is close to restaurants if you need to call in something. The room was super nice, very clean and comfortable. Just what we need with our two fur babies.
- EmilyMore than a year agoThe dog, the cat, and me
The Deluxe King room we got was huge compared to other hotels we stayed at. It was carpeted, so my Chihuahua mix kept smelling previous guests and wanted to mark her territory. The bed was comfortable. The tub had yellowed a bit. I was able to leave the cat and dog in the room for a couple hours with a Do Not Disturb in the key slot. They did fine.
