It was a basic hotel with efficient staff and clean rooms. We could take our dogs on nice walks behind the hotel by the river. I thought it was great value for money. Very functional.

Rooms are very clean, bed was comfortable, pretty quiet overall. No easily accessible spot for dog necessities, especially at night. There is a dog area but it’s overgrown with weeds. Staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms are painted gray, kind of depressing but not a big deal.

That’s the best I can say about this place. It is very tired and run down. The dog area is dirt and weeds. There is a lot of undesirable areas around the outside of the hotel. We were initially given a second floor room. No elevator since the room doors open to the outside, and the steps were made in a metal open grate style. Our 40 pound dog was afraid to walk up and down them so my husband had to carry him. Fortunately they were able to move us to a first floor room the next day. No breakfast available, though that might not be a bad thing. The staff was friendly and helpful which is about the best I can say. I am grateful that there are dog friendly hotels so I hate to be negative, but if you can afford to stay somewhere nicer do it.

Other than that, no issues. Small breeds will not be able to walk on the stairs.
