    Room layout with a back door into the courtyard very nice.

    Clean & Spacious

    Individuals with pets get to be on the first floor which every room has a back door to the backyard. The backyard of the hotel is enough for my chiweenie to do what she needed to do. Breakfast was ok and the same every day but it didn't affect my fam since we did a small grocery shopping (this location is close to everything) and ate on the way to the mountains. Would totally stay again.

    Made for Dogs

    We were given a first floor room that had its own back door, opening onto the hotel’s dog walking area. It doesn’t get much more convenient than that! The room was also clean, quiet, and comfortable.

    Perfect for our needs

    Room at end of hallway. Perfect as we had 2 dogs. Easy to take them out. Room was quiet.

    So relaxing!

    I enjoyed this hotel so much that I booked it for another night during my stay. The rooms are roomy, updated, and clean. The bed was pretty comfy. There was back door that opened up to a courtyard where my dogs could do their business. Dog bags were provided. Staff was friendly and helpful!

    Our reservation was booked a month in advance for the “ground-floor, pet-friendly rooms that open to a courtyard” and “assigned to a pet-friendly room, so there won’t be any unpleasant surprises at check-in”. However, this was not the case as we checked in. Upon arriving I was told there were no pet-friendly rooms available and was put on the third floor with my 2 very large dogs. Although I am grateful this hotel allows for XL dogs such as my Great Dane and Black Lab mix, this was very difficult getting my dogs onto the third floor especially when I paid for and reserved a ground floor room. We were told that check in started at 3pm and should have been there sooner to ensure we get the room we paid for, and this was never communicated during the booking process. During the overnight stay there was a small dog across the hall that barked nonstop through the night along with our next door neighbors throwing a party until 2am blasting music and slamming doors. This whole situation made it a very hard and stressful night for us and the dogs. We have another reservation coming up that is non-refundable, hopefully we have a better experience and can update this according.

    Very nice

    The location was very convenient. Staff was nice. They have dog biscuits at the front desk. The room was very nice and clean - only complaint was the room smelled a little like dog pee. Other than that it was great and would definitely recommend.

    Last minute find

    We were supposed to be flying back home in our plane from the nearby Centennial airport when our plane experienced a mechanical issue. Stranded and scrambling to get a mechanic, a timeline, a car, etc, I pulled up BringFido since we wouldn’t be leaving that night and had a Great Pyrenees and a German Shepherd. La Quinta was only 2 miles away, no pet fee, took multiple big dogs, and were very affordable. The staff was extremely nice, the room was very large, and the internet was fast. We will be staying here again when we go back for the plane and would recommend the place to any pilots with pooches

    Great Experience

    Excellent value, room was nice and clean, our room had an exit to the grassy courtyard, staff was helpful, polite and cheerful. I highly recommend this hotel for those with dogs. Our stay was so nice we added an extra day to our stay.

    Staff was in attendance, reasonable and assured my reservation after arriving quite late. Room was a hard floor, smelled a bit odd. The bathroom was not very clean around the edges and there was human hair, dirt around the edges. I’ve stayed at much cleaner accommodations. Sheets seemed clean but the comforter was not. Wouldn’t very likely stay there again.

    Best dog friendly hotel

    This la Quinta really is the best spot for dog travelers. It’s easy to get in and out to grassy areas. The hotel provides poop bags. And they will even clean your room as soon as you ask them if you are going to be going out for a short time with the pup. I’ve heard La Quinta might be changing their no fee pet policy. This would be a huge mistake. I seek out this chain every time I travel because of their pet friendly policies. Changing them would not generate more money for the company, it would decrease it.

    Probably one of the nicer La Quintas

    I travel A LOT with my dogs. This La Quinta is conveniently located near a lot of services and most importantly the highway. Plenty on walkable areas with grass to get a good walk in with your dog away from the property. Staff were kind and cordial, room was clean and comfortable. All in all, this was probably one of the nicer La Quintas I have stayed at. Well done La Quinta DTC!

    Great Stay for an Overnight

    We stayed here with our 1 year old Aussie and 16 year old Pomeranian mix. We had a nice first-floor room that was near the lobby. It was a large room with a comfortable bed that fit all of us. There was a secondary door that led out to a grassy area around the pool for bathroom breaks. There were doggie poop bags and trash cans for easy cleanup. The staff was nice. It was the first time our Aussie has stayed in a hotel. The noise from the kids playing in the pool would make her bark, but we turned up the t.v. a little and that seemed to help. We had to head out early so we missed breakfast. But it was a great stay for a quick overnight trip.
