  Nice hotel

  Hotel had no record of our reservation at all. We had our printed confirmation, but they said that it didn't exist on their side. We were able to get the last room available but now we are hesitant to book again through BringFido. The hotel was super nice, clean and our Corgi was welcomed with no issues.

  Adequate stay

  I’m a local and I needed a hotel room for 8 hours during the middle of the day with my three dogs while I vacated the house for it to be serviced. I asked the manager in person if my three large dogs (50/65/70 lbs) could be allowed to stay. He said yes without hesitation and didn’t even ask about their breed or their size. I was very grateful! I did not use the beds, or take advantage of breakfast. The room definitely felt like a pet room - vinyl floors and well-used furniture. It was clean enough though. The staff were helpful and friendly. There is a pet waste station, but there is no grass in the area. If you’re able to, I recommend jumping in the car and going to Riverbend Ponds Natural Area or Edora Park not too far away for a better potty opportunity.

  The room was very small. The dog walk was very muddy and full of dog poop. There was no grass. Both my dog and I tracked in copious amounts of mud and debris from the dog walk area.

  Great hotel!

  Beautiful, clean hotel and reasonable prices. The decor was cool too! The breakfast was delicious with lots of options. Love that it is pet friendly. The clerk at checkout gave my dog a large treat for the road. That was a bonus! My favorite hotel on this trip and in a long time! Will def stay here again when traveling through!

  Updated and Clean

  The hotel has been updated nicely inside. They actually even have a bar area where you can get a few adult beverages and a small selection of hot food items. There is also a little pantry area where you can purchase snacks. They had the typical continental breakfast, minus fresh fruits and the coffee was blah and lukewarm.

  The lobby and room was clean and spacious. The beds were comfy and there was hardly any noise throughout our stay. The pet room had vinyl flooring, so there are no worries if your pet has an accident. There is a small, open pet area in the northeast corner of the hotel that has a bag/trash station. Luckily, responsible pet owners have kept the area picked up. The weight room is a nice size and the pool area was clean. We enjoyed a soak in the hot tub with the convenience of having pool towels as you enter.

  The only reason I am giving 4 bones and not 5 is that there seemed to be a few homeless/questionable folks hanging out in the parking lot (but they never approached us) and one came in during breakfast and helped himself. I think the hotel staff could monitor that a little better.

  All of the employees that we dealt with were professional and courteous. In fact, they all seemed to go out of their way to be friendly! One of the maintenance guys was carrying a chair down the hall when we were taking the dogs to our room and tucked himself away into a doorway because he didn't want to scare our dogs.(How considerate is that!!??) We would stay here again if we were ever in the area in the future.

  Facility and staff were great. Other pet owners not so great. Pick up your pet's feces and don't leave them alone in rooms if they are going to bark.

  Uncomfortable and dirty

  I stayed here in September 2021 with my small, non-shedding dog. It was so dirty and uncomfortable that it nearly ruined my whole trip. The bed was poor quality and sheets were itchy. The floor was sticky with pet hair in corners of the room, and my dog nearly choked on a gum ball she found within 3 minutes of us walking into the room. It had obviously not been cleaned thoroughly at all. There’s a reason they don’t charge a non-refundable pet fee, I guess—they don’t want to bother deep cleaning the pet-friendly rooms. Stay somewhere else if you want a good night’s sleep.

  Disappointed

  The reviews were good for this hotel, so we booked and stayed here! The room wasn’t very clean, very smelly, the pet area was minimal and mostly mud. There was freezing rain during the night and no effort was made to get salt or ice melt on the walkway or the parking lot! Extremely dangerous, especially for older folks!

  Didn’t sleep

  After driving 14 hours from Canada with a trailer and my two dogs, I got in to La Quinta very late (2am) and my wife had called ahead to make sure that there would be someone there to check me in. That was the only good thing about this experience. After getting myself and the dogs settled, people were partying and yelling and screaming all night long, just as they would quiet down and I would start falling asleep, they would start yelling again. Eventually yelled at them to shut up and finally quieted. After that was shortly awoken by the cleaning staff conversing and laughing, which they had put me beside the very loud laundry room. After getting close to no sleep, I woke up showered and went to get my included breakfast (one of the reason I chose this hotel and that it was dog friendly) only to find out they stopped serving at 9am. I would have hoped that when I checked in that's the desk clerk would have mentioned that. I’m sure if the circumstances were different it would have been a different experience. Wouldn't have been such a big deal if I hadn’t driven over 14 hours, got no sleep and then had to drive another 11 the following day.

  Small grass area

  The dog relief area was extremely small and they had a lot of rocks around that could be converted to make it more pet friendly. The room was nice and the breakfast ok. Good for a night but a longer stay may be a problem.

  Poor Location

  Not far from I-25, but in a seedy area. (We moved our car to the front for the overnight rather than leave it at the entrance closest to our room.) Huge place and difficult to find the correct entrance for our room which was as far from any possible entrance as you could get. Ugh for hauling in all the gear. Small weed and rock strewn area for pets. Room was fairly clean and comfortable. But a word of caution, both our large dogs figured out how to open the room door on their own. The lever merely had to be pushed down with no pulling action and the door would swing open. We had to have the deadbolt thrown at all times. If one person was out of the room, the other couldn’t do anything besides monitor the door or wait to unlock the deadbolt for the other’s return. Would stay here again, but only in a very big pinch.

  Lipstick On A...

  This place is conveniently located off the expressway and recently remodeled making a positive first impression. However, it’s an old building that once was a sad motel snug between a storage rental building a vacant asphalt lot and not much of anything else. The grassy area is limited and heavily worn from use. Many pet owners there but also sketchy guests and people there enjoying a low-rent motel like it’s a Four Seasons. Kinda creepy but good for a down n dirty quick overnight. We wouldn’t choose to stay at this La Quinta again.

  Didn’t stay here but…

  Let me start by saying I didn’t actually stay at this hotel, but wanted to leave some stars because I booked and got a call from the hotel saying the last room had been booked a few minutes before my booking. They were super nice and apologetic and I really liked that they let me know quickly instead of letting me drive all the way there and finding out at 1am that I didn’t have a room.

  Wonderful Room

  Room was clean, staff friendly. We had the best sleep during the trip there! The only weak area was pet area was almost non-existent. Otherwise, the place was perfect.

  Large hotel with bag breakfast. Clean rooms, tile not carpet. Always the best with doggies. 6 miles away is a great dog park Twin Silos.

  Manager gave my dog a treat at check-in; recently renovated, so room was clean & modern; good food menu in hotel so did not need to go elsewhere to eat.

  Comfortable stay

  We had a lovely stay at the La Quinta Fort Collins. I was only confused when their safety policy stated that they only service housekeeping in rooms with A 3+ night stay, yet someone did enter our room and made our bed and hung up clean towels after the 1st night. Not a big deal at all, just inconsistent with what we were told. Friendly staff and clean room.

  Great rooms

  This was a nice hotel. Nice pet rooms with nice hardwood floors just put in this past winter. Great location right off a hwy and close to historic downtown with shopping and places to eat.

  Some of this hotel is remodeled. I think it could be cleaner, but it worked for our 1 night stay. There is one small grassy area for your dog to do his/her business.

  We made a mad dash to FtCollins for personal reasons. We did not have time to find a pet sitter for our 2 big dogs.
  The staff was wonderful, helpful, and very nice. I read the reviews before booking and was a little concerned about the location and safety.
  The parking lot was well lit all around the building. I did not have a problem walking my dogs by myself.
  The room was clean and updated.
  The beds were comfy and the linens smelled clean.
  The breakfast was probably the best I’ve had at a hotel.
  I would definitely stay here again!
