I stayed at this Super 8 in Sept 2019. The employee at check in was friendly and helpful. She provided us with menus from local restaurants in the area that would deliver which was a relief since we had been driving all day and wanted to stay in for the night.
This location description says they have a pet relief area, it does have a small grassy area on one side of the hotel and there's a small park area adjoining the hotel property, however both areas are full of goat head stickers. What looks like patches of grass are actually patches of these thorns. My dog refused to walk in either of these areas and ended up not going to the bathroom before going to bed. The next morning when I walked her she refused to walk in the "grassy" area and relieved herself in the parking lot on the pavement. Once the sun came up I went to investigate why my dog wouldn't go in the grass and noticed all the thorns covering the ground.
If I wasn't traveling with a pet, this hotel would get a higher rating, but since I selected it solely because of it's claim of being pet friendly I'm giving it a low rating.
