- JennyJul. 21, 2022Dog and kid friendly
We stayed at the Hotel Glenwood Spring before had a dog and our kids loved it. When we came through Glenwood Springs again, we were delighted to discover they welcome dogs. The dog-friendly rooms are well-thought out - tight fitting mattress covers instead of dust ruffles, hard surface floors instead of carpet. They allow dogs to stay in the room on their own, but keep a file with contact information in case the dog is upset. This let our family spend time in the pool and at breakfast without worrying that our dog was barking or unhappy. They post the names of the current dog guests on a board at the front desk and genuinely seems to enjoy the canine visitors. There is a grassy area behind the hotel with poop bags, as well as close proximity to Two Rivers Park, a gem in its own right. We stayed two separate times this summer and thoroughly enjoyed both.

Left my dog in the room and she got out. The door handles are too easy for my smart German Shepherd. She got past the front desk people and started running down I-70. Scary to say the least but we eventually found her injured. I won’t be back.

Too expensive for the quality of the room and service. It was nice that they allow large dogs 🐕 and that there is a space outside for the dog to go potty. But the room is very basic and everything seems old.

There's a grassy area on the side and behind the building. It's within walking distance of a park (maybe 10-15 minutes) and downtown restaurants (maybe more like 20 minutes because of traffic lights). Our room had hardwood floors, which was great because we're always paranoid the dogs will have an accident.
- JoeOct. 6, 2019Great for kids and dogs
Smart idea to have laminated wood floors, at least for the pet-friendly rooms! We found our room to be good-sized for us and our two (smaller) dogs, clean, and quiet. Also a great pool area for kids (of all ages). Reception was very friendly and efficient, and it's a cute idea to list the names of the dogs staying the night. I'd return, with or without our pets.
- RosalbaSep. 3, 2019Enjoyable location
We have big dogs that like to take long walks and this place was great for them. There’s a direct path to the river, with parks, walkways, and river access. You could walk all the way to downtown. Staff was very helpful and comfortable with dogs. The room was large and smelled clean with no damp smell. If dogs don’t bark, they let you leave them in room, which was great so we could go downtown for dinner. A great experience.
- JessicaAug. 30, 2019Great Location And Pet Friendly
Very pet friendly and they welcome their furry friends on a white board by listing their names. Were able to leave dogs unattended, which was great (you leave a phone number and they call with issues). We took advantage and rode the gonodala up the mountain and enjoyed the hot springs pool the next day. Actual hotel pool also has zero depth entry and a water slide my kids loved!! I also loved that they had hardwood floors and the place felt clean!

- LizJan. 28, 2019VERY Pet Friendly!
The staff is wonderful and so friendly, and the hotel itself is clean and cozy. They put your furry friends name on the welcome board and everything. Their pet policy is very pet friendly and allows you to leave your furry friend behind in the room while you go out. They just ask that you leave a phone number so that they can contact you. It was so nice to be able to bring Elvis along on our family vacation and know he was in great hands when we left. Would definitely recommend and stay again!
- KateMore than a year agowonderful stop over
During a cross country trip, we used this as a stopping point. Very helpful staff. Older rooms, but clean and comfortable. Convenient to lots of restaurants. Smaller area to walk dog (77 lb great pyr mix) but it works.
