This place is in need of some love. It was overpriced for what it was and it was stinky in the hallways. The room was clean and the front desk people were nice. But really, I would stay here again.

That is about as much of a recommendation as I can make. Expensive and sketchy (building is well used and in need of maintenance). Not somewhere I would go again if I had a choice.

Wonderful location to downtown Pagosa Springs, the river walk, and other local amenities. However, the security was concerning (both the front and back main door locks were broken, so anyone could follow you/get to your personal room quite easily). And although the room was clean, the entire building and rooms were quite run down/dingy (the outside looked like it was falling apart) and smelled of faint cigarette smoke (we had a supposed non-smoking room) and must.

Price was very expensive & it's basically a dump. Old noisy room air conditioners blaring all night long. NO ONE on site after 10 until 6:30 a.m. Luckily we arrived at 9:30.

We got the hotel last minute to visit my sister and mom, who were visiting, but staying at a non- pet friendly resort. I was surprised to find the hotel was at the base of reservoir hill and a stones throw from the hot springs and downtown. The dogs loved playing in the river, hanging out at the breweries, and meeting so many new friends (and meeting their auntie for the first time). Although the hotel is undergoing renovations, we never heard construction sounds and the rooms were nice and clean. Best value in Pagosa by far!

The room was near the end of the hallway. This made it convenient fir restroom breaks. room was clean and cozy.
