We loved the hospitality for our dog and our family at Loyal Duke. Our room was impeccably clean and modern, we had plenty of room for four of us. The motel office is adorable and the breakfast was just right. The staff has friendly tips about hikes and restaurants in the area printed out. We will definitely return!

Old motel that has been nicely updated. My only complaint is that since it’s old, the walls were too thin. I could hear everything next door and upstairs.

Cute hotel, but rooms are definitely packed in, tons of dogs and tons of barking during our brief stay. One building has three levels so you may have noise on both sides as well as up above and down below. Clean almost to a fault as our room smelled of heavy bleach for the 24 hours we stayed. Nice little green space for the dogs and a park across the street if they need more space. It definitely depends on your point of view, but there seem to be no rules as dogs were off leash on the property and barking constantly through the day.

They were so accommodating. They don't just allow dogs they love dogs. Right when we walked in they were so happy to see us and our pup. The rooms were so nice and a great value. We will definitely be staying there again.

I read all the other reviews on BringFido and was very impressed. However, my experience was different. First of all, we were charged $150 for the room (after taxes) and a pet fee, bringing the total to almost $200.00 for a small room with modest amenities. When I went on the site the next week, I found that the rooms were now going for $80 (which is about what they are worth)and I cannot see any reason for this huge discrepancy. In addition, the staff did not advise me about the magnificent off leash area Less than10 minutes walk away and I ended up taking my dog across the street to a rather pathetic park,which was filled with deer scat.
My one positive response - The staff was friendly and attentive.

We would have gave 5 bones if the pet potty area was grass versus gravel. The dog park is a short walk and there is a park across the street to walk your pet. Staff is great and rooms appear updated and clean!

Basic clean room that has been recently updated. No fee for two dogs. At check in they gave me a list of recommended restaurants and several on the list were pet friendly. Also told me about the off leash dog park straight down the road. These recommendations made for a nicer stay. Designated pet area on site. Very pleased with our stay.
