We loved that both cats were welcome to stay for a reasonable fee ($40 total) during a 5 night stay. the hot tub was not working and the breakfast was sparse (due to remodeling?)

Basic hotel, not many amenities in the room. Cleanliness was decent. I like all of the carpeted hallways, but was put on second floor and no elevator. Dog walk area was under construction but was a nice grassy area with a table. Breakfast was very basic. Enjoyable stay and would definitely stay again if in Steamboat Springs.

Wonderful Christmas eve stay. Very dog friendly. Great accommodating staff. Great to have Rex's Grill next door. My only feedback otherwise is that it's difficult to walk to from the main roads due to creeks, etc. There are however side paths and bike paths behind the hotel for dog walking.

After choosing to stay at the La Quinta Inn in Steamboat, making my reservation, choosing this motel because the price of $20 per accommodation for my 2 Frenchie and myself, I was told by the hotel staff that the price was per dog not per accommodation. I pointed this out to her that this was on the website and she acted like she was changing the wording while I was waiting. Per accommodation is not per pet. All thru their web site it refers to the room as accommodation. So the desk clerk should have honored that but she refused to.

Easy to park our camping trailer. We had an upstairs corner room which gave us additional sunlight. Bed and chairs were comfy. Bathroom and kitchenette were clean. We could have asked for another set of bath towels for 2 nights, we had just one set for each of us. The property was well lit and easy to get to dog walk area. Staff was courteous.

There is not much area for dogs to potty. No poop bags in dispenser. Carpets worn and very dirty in hallways. Wall paint is not updated to new fixtures so it looks tacky. Short of staff. Would recommend looking for another location.

Had a first floor room with two King beds, very nice and clean. Didn’t smell like dog. Really big room (Rm 110 - corner room). Potty area isn’t that far. Limited hot breakfast, but it was tasty. Would definitely stay here again with a dog!! Big dogs allowed which is a plus. Pet fee, but it’s only $20. Hotel is by main road but well-insulated so no traffic noise. I guess you could walk to town but it would be far; we drove and always found parking - even on a holiday weekend.
