First I want to say that the staff at the hotel are very nice. When we got into our room and found 2 cockroaches, they did offer to change the room. At the time, we decided to stay since there were only 2. We went to bed and turned off the lights. Shortly after, I got up to use the restroom and turned on the lights. That is when I saw cockroaches EVERYWHERE!!!! On the counters, floors, in the bathroom and worst of all….crawling around the bed. We immediately left. I called the board of health the next day to report the situation so you may want to check with them before booking a room here. The hotel front desk staff was very apologetic and offered to ask the manager to give me a refund. At the very least, I expected to hear from the manager with an apology, but I have heard nothing. Good luck if you stay here.

    Ok Location

We were traveling with two small dogs from Virginia to Maine. We selected this hotel due to its location just a tad north of New York City. The hotel lobby was clean, but small. We had no problem getting to our room on the second floor, but noted that the corridors were dingy. Our room smelled a tad of cigarettes, , but maybe more because of the multitude of other occupants smoking outside of the hotel. We kept our window open while there which helped with the smell. Overall, the room was clean though not luxurious. We had a kitchen area that had a “wood” laminate floor. The outside area was sparse with a bit of grassy area for dogs. Not much or great. The hotel seemed to be minimally managed at the front end and attracts a lot of young party folks. We slept well, but probably will not return.

    Great hotel

This was a nice hotel. Clean, plank flooring so great for water bowls or if your dog has an accident. Easy clean up all around. I very much enjoyed my stay.

    Nice staff, creepy area

First of all, the staff was really great! They went above and beyond for us and our pups. The room was just ok. No trash bins (but staff brought us a couple right away). Very little space outside for pups to do their thing. People in parking lot sitting in cars and trucks... why? Loud music down the hall coming from several rooms leaving their doors open. It’s an extended stay so maybe they were having friends in to party. Made me feel uncomfortable with all sorts coming and going. Would not stay there again.
