Place outside needs an update. There was a note at check in that changes were coming. I have some doubts that they will spend enough or be soon enough to truly update to what this place could be. Room was not bad (clean, live edge table and bench) but facility front area and roof has seen better days. Our room heater was noisy; reduced noise slightly as it continued to run. Nice lighted area in back was great for late night dog outings.

Good place to stay. Senior couple and a cocker spaniel. Pleasant, clean dog relieving area right behind the motel (well supplied with poop mitts & disposal bin) and a spacious, mowed meadow to play frisbee in just beyond that. Room & bathroom basic and clean, quiet. No sign of the hygiene & odor problems mentioned in previous review. Rather charming locally made wooden furniture. Convenient parking immediately in front of room. This was an off-season stay, so do not know about AC, but heat was fine. Proprietor had helpful suggestions about local dining. Drawbacks: Electricity outlet not effectively holding plugs.

Hello everyone, I usually do not write reviews about Dumps oh I mean this motel but I had to protect the dog owners out there from making a huge mistake. This was the dirtiest, filthiest, smelly "Motel" I have been to and I use the term Motel very loosely. We walked into a dingy room that smelled like Mildew-they even had a dehumidifier running in the room. The Sheets and bed covers were stained. My wife looked at me and said "no way" she went to the front desk and a nice woman took us to a 2nd room. Well the smell wasn't as bad but the room itself was filthy. the woman went to the restroom oh by the way there was garbage in the trash- who goes to a Motel "dump" and there is a full garbage can. Anyway she wiped a table off that looked like it wasn't cleaned for weeks. The pillow cases were Yellow and again stained sheets. My wife looked at the window sill and there was two dead bugs laying there (big enough bugs to be noticed). We left and tried to get our money back but the manager refused.
