We stayed one night at this hotel. They might have redone the design but the interior is old and needs a total remodel. Our room had mold from the AC down the wall including the baseboards. Even hard structures had been repainted and looked yucky. The free breakfast was cold, looked unappetizing. The waffle maker was worn out and no amount of the provided nonstick spray would keep the waffle spray. Only Coffee Mate was provided. No milk or half-n-half provided. The luggage cart was broken. The check-in clerk was not very helpful.

Wouldn’t honor our military discount. Honestly guys, $170 a night for a basic hotel? Then, we were given the room card and the room hadn’t been cleaned. Moved us to another but now lost our queen bed. Breakfast.. no meat? Could have been better and worse but for the prices, get it together. Staff was friendly!!

The amenities and staff were great. Good dog-walking areas. Close to a nice seafood place within walking distance.

Large room and very quiet AC. Bushes outside window added to privacy. Good WiFi. We tried a handicap access room and appreciated the large bathroom. The shower seat was old and needed good cleaning and the curtain was a bit short.

Clean room, pet friendly walking area. While good access to I-10, heavy rush hour traffic on State Rd. 85. Can be noisy if next door room parties.

From the paw perspective it was great with lots of walking areas. From the people perspective, not so much:
—Never gave me the wifi log in and pword at check in
—crappy internet (1 bar)
—tv only had one channel. (Luckily it played movies)
—hall carpet is filthy (we stayed here a year ago. Ever cleaned?)
—card reader for door by our room didn’t work until later in the evening when it was fixed (something went right)
—one bar of soap?
—this is the best one….8:55pm and they’re vacuuming the hall?!?!

Our room was clean and comfortable. They had a nice lawn area for pets. They put us on the ground floor, closest to the exit. Due to the interior hallways, there was some noise we could hear from the room, but overall it was a pleasant stay.

Staff at check in was very pleasant. They were a little surprised that I had a dog, but quickly adapted and charged the appropriate fee. All in all, I will stay here again if I am passing thru the area.
