This hotel amenities are decent. The staff working there are very helpful. The location is not great, and so for value, 3 bones.

Gave us free Thanksgiving meal. Stayed 2 nights. Dogs don’t like elevator/4 flights of stairs. Nice folks there.

The hotel was used as a homeless shelter. Most of the first floor and the second floor was filled with homeless living in the hotel. We were on the second floor. The hotel smelled like BO and marijuana. The beds were dirty and stains on sheets. Do not recommend.

We were in town for a baseball tournament and this hotel suited all our needs. We were on the first floor. The floors in the room are not carpet which I guess is a good thing for a room hosting animals... There’s a big grassy area in the back for the pups to do their business but bring your own doggy bags.. a definite plus was having a Dunkin literally on site, sharing the parking lot with the hotel.. I’d stay there again.

We went to Fort Myers for the weekend for the Smoke on the water BBQ and music festival. Pets were allowed, so I was happy I could take my Min Pin with me. This Holiday Inn was only 1 mile from the festival and it was pet friendly, so making the choice to stay here was easy. We had no problems the whole weekend. We will definitely stay here sgain.

Safe Stay: Holiday Inn Fort Myers - Downtown Area an IHG Hotel has enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place, and follows the Clean Promise (IHG) cleanliness and sanitization policy. Masks and hand sanitizer are provided to guests, and rooms are disinfected between each stay and sealed after cleaning. Social distancing measures are in place, as well as physical barriers between staff and guests. Contactless check-in and check-out are available. Each room has a 24-hour gap period between stays, and hotel staff are required to wear masks.
