      Perfect stay EXCEPT for the irresponsible dog owners

      Great location, great rooms, nice staff (and a lot of them), good breakfast and decent dog walk area BUT too many irresponsible dog owners let their dogs poop in other areas and did not clean up after their pets:(or in compliance with the pet policy they signed). Pets were welcomed, but I’m afraid the property may change their pet policy if guests don’t follow their policies. Our dog enjoyed the stay and so did we.

      Great location

      Easy on/off I-75. Large room, quiet location, very clean. Very comfortable beds. Clean dog walking area. Good hot breakfast.

      Quality hotel

      Renovated 3 story hotel with beautifully landscaped grounds. Adequate areas to walk your dog, rooms with comfortable beds and hard surface floors, and a decent breakfast included. Rooms well decorated around horse theme so appropriate for Ocala. Great value.

      Work in Progress, Patience Necessary

      Don’t overlook the “in progress” cautions; eventually this should be a gem. A former budget hotel being reconstructed with far higher aspirations in real time means just that. Evidence of construction abounds. We arrived the Saturday prior to Super Bowl enroute to Michigan from Captiva, with reservation. Our greeting was friendly and we got upgraded to a poolside King Suite. This was not yet renovated, but the two rooms were huge, clean, but ready for a makeover. All OK. The grassy area in the surrounding neighborhood is great for Fido. Breakfast was adequate; the price and staff attitude were superb. Someday....
