Had a suite. Decent space but this is one of the older LQ’s. Room had vinyl tile thankfully as anywhere there was carpeting it was filthy. Staff were saving grace as they attempted to accommodate where they could. Bathroom was okay and clean. Would not stay here except for travel with our very well traveled dogs. Breakfast was average. Again staff tried to help where they could. Was going to soak in hot tub but jets didn’t work and couple staying there for a month prior to moving into their new home said it hadn’t worked for their stay. Finally, king bed was comfortable.

I enjoy the La Quinta properties. The lobby, the reception staff and free breakfast were all good. The room itself was a bit worn looking. But for a 1 night stay it was fine.

I booked here for several reasons. One because it had a good rating from other users and because rate was in my price range. There were no amenities for dogs. The poop stations did not have bags. We were put on the 6th floor with a dog? When they have to use the bathroom? Not cool. The rate was fine however they charge an extra $50 just in case something happens. You'll get that money back in a couple of days if they determine you did not destroy the place.
The breakfast was pretty lame compared to where we usually stay there but there was food. We were on the 6th floor with a dog. What happens when the dog has to go to the bathroom you have to make it all the way down to the first floor either by running the stairs. My dog is 17 that's not happening. Or the slow elevator that smells like it's going to break any moment the motor is working so hard. The halls were shabby with wallpaper literally being peeled off every 10 ft. The nicest thing about this place was the extremely comfortable bed. But that's not enough to make me want to stay here again ever.

This was a really nice hotel. Very clean and plenty of room. Some grassy areas for dogs. They had a complimentary hot breakfast. Staff was friendly. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel was lovely, people were nice, but we went to sleep and I kept waking up in the middle of the night thinking something was "on" me and turned the light on....fleas! I realize that it was a pet friendly room, but they should treat the rooms so the next owner doesn't come into an infestation. We left at 4:00 a.m. I couldn't fall asleep knowing they were crawling on me. As soon as we got home, my baby boy got a flea chew, a bath and every piece of clothing in that room went into a hot wash.

I have been going to this hotel for years with my dog, we do MTB in Santos. So very convenient, and pet friendly. Lot's of pet owners stay there. Rooms are good and clean.

Located near the intersection of a major highway and a busy road but set back in an attractive and quiet area with plenty of areas to walk a dog. Excellent LaToreo Mexican restaurant and a Chili's within 3 minute walk. Excellent facility, clean and comfortable.

Much better kept and maintained than the South Carolina La Quinta. The pet area at back though well provided with poop bags had a lot of unpicked up poop and hence not usable. Luckily there is a grassy patch in front.

We really enjoyed our visit. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Nice sized clean rooms. Just wish the dog friendly rooms had bare floors rather than carpeting. We will stay here again if we come to Ocala!
