    Dirty And Smelly

First let me start by saying the staff was very pleasant. The hotel is non smoking. I do no smoke but the room smelled like someone had previously done so. The dresser had dust like particles which indicate it had not been cleaned well. The mirror was streaky. I did not have maid service the entire time which was my choice. I got clean towels myself. On the last night of my stay I went to bed early because I was traveling the next day. I only slept on the side of the bed that was closest to the bathroom.

The first gross thing I saw on the bed was balls like you get on sweaters and a very long black hair. I got some tissue to pick up the hair and flushed it. I will also say I decided at the last minute not to bring my dog. About 9:30 I was awakened by dogs barking across the hall from me. At first I thought they were just excited to see their owner. Well this went on for 3 hours. It was a large dog and a small dog that were non stop barking. They had been left in the room by themselves. I called the front seat and was told they had already put a notice on the door. Needless to say I could not sleep with the incessant barking.

When I checked out at 4;45 am I spoke with the desk clerk and said I felt I needed to be compensated for paying for the room and not being able to get my sleep. She instructed me to call the manager TJ and talk to him. He told me the best he could do was give me 20% discount of which I have yet to receive. I will never recommend Red Roof Inn to anyone and especially this location.

    Ni bien ni mal

The hotel itself could use some updates. And the bathroom could have been cleaner ... found someone else’s hair. The front desk staff however polite and very friendly with my doggo.

Again the front desk people were great but the room was dirty. I felt like I was cheating on my husband because the bed smelled like a man’s aftershave. I finally figured out it was the headboard which they didn’t clean and someone with hair product had leaned up against it. So gross. People were loud and someone couldn’t stop coughing. And I think they were dealing drugs in the back. A drive through operation it looked like to me. Got maybe 3 hours sleep and couldn’t wait to leave. No more Red Roofs for me. I’d rather sleep in my car.

    Nice place

We loved the location of this property - just off I-10 and within 5 miles of a variety of shops & restaurants. Plenty of well-lit grassy areas for short walks. Appreciated the elevator service to the 2nd floor for my 16-year-old beagle (plus crate). Clean rooms and friendly staff. I have given 3 bones because our Superior Room with 2 double beds was small, linens were stained and there appeared to be spots of mold around the bathroom vent. Breakfast seemed sparse, but this was neither a pro nor con for us. Hope this helps!!

    Avoid at all costs

The good: they allow my 105 lb Rhodesian Ridgeback and don’t charge extra. That’s it.

The bad: smelled moldy, floors were disgustingly dirty, the towels were used.... literally had boot mud prints on them, and the shower had 2 temps... scalding and melt skin. And upon bringing this to the receptionists attention got me a “oh ok”. Thank god I only was staying long enough to get some sleep on a 17 hour road trip.

    Clean And Convenient Location

Clean and affordable. Breakfast of bagels, muffins, cereal, juice and coffee. Great location, close to everything. I also feel completely safe walking my dog at night. Large grassy area out back to walk and play. Has a nice pool for the guests.
