    Clean and convenient

    The room was clean and the location convenient. The only thing we did not like was an additional $100 for “incidentals” which may take 3 days to credit back to us.

    Brothel in front of hotel

    Upon checking in, the front desk notified me he wanted to charge a pet fee. I had a copy of the reservation which indicated that there was no pet fee. He then proceeded to tell me he would waive the fee for me but they were trying to "start charging a pet fee". Pets needed to enter through the side door which I saw as part of these reviews. The strangest thing was there was a brothel in front of the hotel, says "spa" that is 24 hours, 18+ to get in, and a giant body guard in the front. I would not stay at this location again.

    Bad location

    Definitely not pet friendly. The manager claims to be allergic to dogs and won’t allow them in the lobby, you have to bring them in the side doors. You have to pay a fee plus a deposit that you may or may not get back. I haven’t got my deposit back yet and we decided not to use the room. Total scam.

    Front desk staff inexperienced. Neighborhood was sketchy. Not allowed to bring my dog through the front door.

    Okay

    After reading all the reviews, this was the place to stop after a long 15 hour drive headed back to FL w/ our 8 month old Great Dane. When we went to check in, we were pretty much shoo’d out the door saying we couldn’t come in the front with our dog and we had to use one of the side doors. I thought they enjoyed greeting the dogs?? (from what I read in the previous reviews) but that was completely opposite from the experience that we had. When checking in — they had no idea we had booked for a pet friendly room, when they should have seen that since we booked on BringFido .. so it took longer than it should have. It wasn’t a welcoming experience. The next morning when we woke up, there were two really nice ladies working the front that my other half handed the keys to, and said to me, “wish they were here last night.” The rooms were nice. Only negative thing to say about the room is it smelled like weed.

    The staff was amazing!!!

    My stay was very challenging and they made it so much more comfortable for me. I appreciate it their generosity with their patients, and the amazing organization and availability of services. When I asked for something I was always treated with the utmost respect and consideration. I love the people at the front desk and the maintenance man who was taking care of the cards and they other things around the area was amazing. I would stay there again absolutely.

    Grateful that my dog was allowed, however very restrictive (had to let hubby and dog in thru side door) and only spot dogs are permitted to walk is a small grassy spot that was not cleaned (dog owners did not pick up “deposits”).

    Excellent

    Loved staying at La Quinta in Atlanta. We had two dogs, one small & one medium and thought there was no pet fee but we got charged for the extra dog. No biggie. Hotel is clean and updated we loved that is right off the expressway and tons of restaurants around (we got food at Macchu Piccu and was incredibly tasty). We will definitely stay there again when passing by.

    Exactly what we needed!

    No complaints. Room had tile flooring which was perfect for the dogs to cool down at night. Large grassy area near the parking lot to go potty on. Would suggest this if traveling through with pets.

    Allows 3 pets

    Pros: Allows 3 pets, no fee but the do put a $75 hold on your card in case of damages. No carpet on floors so easy to clean, if necessary. Access to pet area outside of side door convenient

    Pro & Con: Room at very end of hall by exit which awakened our normally very quiet dogs each time it opened/shut. Poor sound insulation so a lot of barking each time someone came in & out.

    Bad service

    This hotel was super dog friendly and ideal location. They had a designated area for dogs to potty and hardwood floors in pet rooms. Despite the good there were a few things that made this experience bad. I called to make a reservation and staff told me that even if I make a reservation dog rooms were on first come basis. Meaning even if I have a reservation if some one showed up before me then they would get the room. I had to wait until I made it the the hotel to book. At check in staff member asked for card to put a 75$ hold which was fine but then would not take my bank card I booked with because it did not have a chip on it. I then had to load money onto my cash app card to put the deposit down. Then he swiped the card instead of using the chip so I just didn’t understand why he couldn’t just swipe my bank card. I checked in finished my work then went for dinner. When I returned I pulled sheet back and notice hair in the bed. Not just 1 strand but a couple. I also noticed leftover toiletries item from the previous guest I’m assuming. With it being 1 am and being on the road all day I decided I will deal with it in the morning. I called the next day to let front desk know that I did not feel my room had been cleaned properly and asked for a new set of towels and sheets. The staff member then told me that they were not able to change the sheets until I checked out due to COVID. I then informed her of all the problems I had with the room and she continued to tell me they couldn’t change it and that I should have mentioned it when I checked in at 8:45 the night before. After going back and forth she finally asked the housekeeping manager to take care of the room which they did. If you are ok not being in a clean environment then maybe this is a great place for you. Just wished customer service was better and rooms were cleaned.

    Good location friendly staff

    Room and staff were great. While the pet area was nice, they need to spray it down. My dog picked up fleas and we had to bathe him as soon as we got home.
