Our King room was big, actually a small suite with a bed and sleeping area, and a nice couch to sit on to have a drink and watch tv. There was a LARGE mini fridge with a real FREEZER! We were impressed all our travel snacks and drinks fit. Very clean, staff was friendly, tv selection was the best we have seen with LOTS of channels available to choose from. Good grassy areas to walk our dog, and they provided free milk bones! Would reserve again in a heartbeat!

Pros: Easy stay with our Labrador and comfortable room. Cons: Not the cleanest room. Pool was closed on 80 degree day. Very loud room noise and highway noise.

Property is quite new, well maintained. Lots of dog walking areas. Dog area is relatively free of “land mines” due to responsible guests and/or attentive hotel staff. This place has easy access from I-20 and is reasonably priced.

The first thing we loved was the price. $93 for two queens plus pet fee which I think was about $25. But this was possibly the best pet-friendly hotel we’ve stayed at. We were on the 3rd floor but they put pet rooms at the end of the hall so the stairs to outside are right there. Then, outside you have a beautiful area with trees and complimentary poop bags. There was lots of space to walk around the building to let puppy explore. The hotel seemed to be either new or newly remodeled. And the room was comfortable with a large fridge and very sound proof which is important in a pet friendly place. I always felt totally welcome walking right through the lobby with my pup. We actually went for the king bed which was a $5 upgrade for $98. But the place was better than ones we’ve spent $160 on. Don’t know if we’ll ever be in the area again but I’d totally stay there again and recommend.

I booked through BringFido and got the best rate possible. Booking was very easy and quick. The hotel staff welcomed Murphy. We asked for and got a second floor room. The room was clean and quiet although Murphy spent much of the evening sniffing out previous visitors. It was a little dated as someone else said. The pet fee was reasonable and there was a nice spot for Murphy to walk. Top Dog Tavern was close by for a pet friendly dinner on the patio.

We had a very positive experience and would definitely return. But, as someone else mentioned, it would have been nice to know about the $25.00 refundable per fee imposed at check-in. That’s never happened to us at any other place we have stayed with our dog. Is it really necessary? Otherwise, the room was well appointed and we loved our stay.

The hotel looks very nice both outside and inside. The room was clean, however there were bugs on the ceiling and windowsill. When I went down to the front desk to complain, the employee was extremely rude. After much attitude, we were placed in another room. Which also had the same bugs!!! Never staying here again

I enjoyed the stay; but, I’m a little concerned that “renovations“ were a bit incomplete. Lighted mirror in bath was only functional after I had to plug in a contractor’s extension cord used as makeshift “wiring” in that room. Frig and/or microwave was plugged into an outlet missing a cover plate - probably not up to fire code. The decor of the room has dim lighting that could be construed as “ romantic” but not really everyday reader friendly. The host was indeed pet friendly, otherwise. I just can’t give it a five bone rating given these items above. I probably will not stay here again given management’s failure to tend to electric safety items.

I will say this hotel is very accepting of pets. It is a 25 dollar pet fee for the night, and the room was clean. The furniture was very modern and I enjoyed the trial size pharmacopeia bottles of shampoo and conditioner. My dog slept comfortably as did my teenager, so for me it's a personal win-win scenario! Oh and breakfast was in the words of Gen-Z 'Bussin' Bussin'! Those were the absolute best waffles I have ever eaten! Please don't give away your secrets, but how to you get them to be so rich and scrumptious!?!? Best kept secret in Augusta!

They are have remodeled two floors completely. However if you are staying with a pet you must be in their old rooms. The couch and chairs were so dirty we wouldn’t let our kids touch them. The carpet was old but seemed to be clean. The beds were clean and comfortable. The carpet was coming up at the threshold, the lampshades were cracked, and the desk had been chewed. It wouldn’t have been as bad if there was a discount for having to be in their old rooms, but you pay full price plus a pet fee.

Nice suites hotel, with larger than usual fridge. Hot breakfast included. One of a few places that allow 3 dogs per room. Dog fee is per night, so if you are staying a long time, it may be better to stay at a place with a per stay fee.

Overall great place to bring pets. Only give it 4/5 because there’s a pet fee per dog per night and there’s limited first floor choices but just call ahead and see if they’re available. Had to take dogs on the elevator in the middle of the night and such. The location of the hotel can’t be beat for dogs. So much grass and a long tree line to walk the dogs. Very clean!
