They advertise $45 rooms and charged me $70. No sheets on the bed just a blanket and mattress cover. Clerk at check-in was rude. The worst hotel I have ever stayed at.

I absolutely will NEVER stay here again. Good items: The clerk was pleasant. The water was good and hot. The bed sheets and towels were fresh and clean. This non-smoking room had no smells of previous smoke. Negatives: Light at entry does not work. Floors had globs of old hair (unknown if animal or human) in at least four places in the common walk area of room and clearly visible. Toilet had feces and urine in the bowl and had "fresh" urine under the seat. I had to adjust the toilet valve to flush even marginally. It was not stopped up yet the old toilet no longer facilitates flushing completely.
The shower and tub were filthy (can't find how to post pics). Dirt and soap scum collects under fingernails if accidentally scratch the surface. I actually wanted to wash my feet again following my shower. Bathroom door frame was rotted through in a spot in one corner that was about 4 in tall and 3 in wide and maybe 2 in deep. Other trim was filthy and had rotted spots. The bedspread has burn holes all over it even though this is not a smoking room. - BruceAug 4, 2021Can I give them a negative 1000????
They’re the worst!!!!!! I booked with them over the phone and explained that I had 3 dogs, each under 20lbs. so they booked my room. I then drove from Delaware and 12 hours later when I arrived they said they couldn’t allow three dogs even though we had a conversation the day prior. The gentleman at the counter initially said “no” then after I explained that the woman I spoke to the day before said “yes”, he changed his mind and said he’d give us a room. Ten minutes later he changed his mind to “no” even after knowing that we were on the road for 12 hours and had another 6 to go. All other dog hotels were booked. The gentleman didn’t care! Pure rudeness is all I can say!!! I would never stay or recommend a Motel 6 to anyone!!! They are pure trash!!!!!

Very basic property, but ok for a single night stay due to its inexpense and no pet fee. Chick in was slow. Employee seemed as if it was his first day on the job.

The hotel was horrible. Did not even deserve one dog bone. We checked in at 8:30 pm and left at 1:00 am. We had driven 6 hours to get there and had a 6 1/2 hour drive the next day. So you know it had to be bad if we opted to drive 6 1/2 hours in the dark with little to no sleep. We asked for a 1st floor room and was told they did not have one. Funny we walked by several first floor rooms that were clean and unoccupied. I think they put all guests with pets in the really bad rooms, they originally gave us a 1st floor room and then changed it when they noticed our pets in the reservation. The bathroom had mold in it as well as pieces of baseboard that had sustained water damage and were falling off the wall. The bathtub had mold around the wall and would not drain. The toilet quit working. There were numerous feral cats running around. Basically it was a horrible experience. I can’t figure out why others gave it a good rating. Maybe the owners rated it themselves.

They have recently renovated the rooms, a breath of fresh air! Very nice rooms , and very clean. Lots of places to walk my dog, she was happy about that. Very friendly welcoming at the front desk. Close to restaurants and just off I-95.
I highly recommend this place. Exterior rooms which are so much easier with a dog.
