    3 out of 4 paws

La Quinta Inn was a one night getaway location spot for us. It’s not the Ritz but it’s not a doghouse either. The room was clean, comfortable, and location to the interstate was good. The building looks aged but the staff was kind and very helpful. One negative is not a lot of green space for our pup to sniff to do his business. Would stay again if we are in the area.

    Very pleased

Our stay in Columbus Ga was very good. I'd give it 4 bones without a problem. The room was clean, equipped and the location was within only a few blocks of restaurants, stores, etc. I did not do breakfast only wanting to get back on the road. I was very much satisfied. So was Spook, my Lab.

If you're traveling and only looking for a bed and some rest, this is the place. If you require one on one care, considerations, or Disneyland atmosphere, pay for it! Otherwise don't gripe.!

The location was fine but Inn was not

Oh Yes, there was suppose to be breakfast and all of the dining room was closed. Nor was there any chance to get cereal or a piece of fruit, coffee or anything

Friendly staff but rough around the edges

Overall, as far as pet-friendly lodging goes, the hotel is a good, low-cost option for traveling with your pet. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was pretty good.

The room was decent but there were some challenges. The room temperature was very hot when we arrived (88 degrees). I tried to adjust it but the wall thermostat and the fan unit near the window wouldn't work. We ended up opening the window to cool down the room (this was in January so it was pretty cold outside).

The elevator stopped working sometime in the night. We were on the 2nd floor so it wasn't a big deal to walk up and down one flight.

Additionally, the fire alarm started beeping around 11pm. After calling the front desk, they sent someone up who said it was a low battery and he didn't have anymore. He ended up removing the alarm altogether. Effective but not the safest route.

    Good location for us

We stayed at LaQuinta for 8 days. The staff was pleasant and helpful and the rooms were clean. We had a king suite so our dogs had room to move about. The only downside to the room was there were not enough lights in the room. The long counter by the windows should have a lamp on it as well.

    Good service!

For our short stay (8hrs) it was just what we needed, a place to take a shower and sleep. Place is kinda outdated, husband wasn't pleased with the shower and the carpet in the room being stained. Service at front desk was very nice. The place had a weird vibe to it and even my dogs were restless. It did had more green area for dogs to potty than other places we've stayed before. Overall, it wasn't a bad place but we it needs some TLC.
